Great job, Talon! Yes, in my chat with Kyle Wlodyga from December 2023 he mentions that they were experimenting with moveable jaws. If you look at the new Super Kaiju line coming to Target, it seems that they are on the way!

I wanted with all my heart for it to have the nice matte finish they showed in the renders. But deep down, I think I knew it wouldn’t. Such a shame, this could have been a huge win for them

@@SpireTalonYT most of the Ultimates are too glossy which cheapens the overall look of the figure IMO. And let's face it, since Super 7 blew up, they've become a bit expensive. My 1989 Radioactive Breath Goji ended up too glossy, which is why I held off and got an X-Plus Minus One figure. Unparalleled detail, and the coloring is Spot-on.
It's still a Gojira figure, so what's not to love? ☺️
Honestly my biggest complaint is the paint job. Way too much yellow his head and shoulders and not near enough on his legs, when the paint shouldn't be yellow it should be more tan, and maybe its just the lighting I don't know, but yeah thats my biggest complaint.
If only he has articulated mouth, I'd take this one, and since i didn't get the SHMA because it's too expensive, i hope that Hiya will make this Godzilla too

Very glad to finally have some video of this guy! I got the burning godzilla figure from super7 last year which made me pre order it but I have been really worried because of them advertizing with 3d renders. Very excited for mine to arrive :>

I like the articulation, was definitely thinking it was gonna be better. And for some reason to me it looks like the paint was done straight over it, no attention to moving the joints to get in there. The size is good and i think it’s a really good figure, but thank goodness i waited for a review. Big shout out man, new subscriber! Keep it up!

I just got mine in the mail and I’m so happy with it! It’s my first super 7 figure and my second Godzilla figure overall (First being SH monsterarts GvK Godzilla). I’m impressed with the articulation and the paintjob on this minus one figure and like you, I chose super 7 over SH cuz the SH one just did not look right.
He doesn't look that bad, and honestly, if i were to get him, i would just display him normally
I was one of the lucky ones to get the super 7 minus one minus color figure. This guy looks absolutely amazing
I have this as well. I don't like how the bottom half is hard plastic. Kind of feels cheap. Also, the fact that there is a big gap where the legs connect to the body is a shame. Other than those two things, I'm glad I have it in my collection.
Could use a matte topcoat but not bad at all! Definitely excited for mine to arrive now.

Just saw a video of someone spraying their figure lightly with a matte top coat. So easy to do. Definitely will do to this Godzilla if I don’t cancel him

Honestly even tho it’s not as painted as the initial prototypes I’m still happy with it it’s a decent enough priced minus one that poses (pretty damn well considering how little joints there are compared to shma) and it’s bigger then normal too I do wonder what the minus color version is gonna look like tho
The lower half of paint looks like less than upper body.
Size and detail isn't bad,but I worried back fin like brokken.
Wow, that’s a nice demo in the articulations but I do want him BUT with only one head with jaw articulations.

Its a pretty nice figure. Just wish it wasn't so expensive. 😮 needs a bit better articulation and more accessories to meet the price point in my opinion. Too glossy. Otherwise, I like it and will still get it lol

Considering there wasn't much stuff in the movie for this figure to have as accessories, I can understand the lack of them, but that doesn't excuse the price he goes for at retail.

Yeah I doubt they’ll actually do hinged mouths. They have a formula they don’t seem to want to deviate from to be original

This guy like pretty neat. I passed on this one. I love my shma Minus One. I was one of the lucky few who had a good copy. Glad this one turned out so cool. Looks like a win for Super7.
Its a very great figure! The shma is alright. The shma is not worth it in my opinion. The Super7 is better in my opinion.

Hey great review Talon! I've been collecting Godzilla figures for a long time now. I hope to see hinged jaws soon, too. I also like the fact that he is nice and big in size. The SH Monsterarts is a lot smaller. I ended up getting another head since my original one did not look as good. Maybe Super 7 will do a powered up version. Now I am really looking forward to what Hiya is going to do with their Minus One version. Did you see the new Godzilla 2001 figure? They are killing it with their sculpts!
