I agree with you about Finlay! I love them!! I like outlandish things though and personally I don’t understand people that want their fiction to be realistic. But I also love the Miss Fortune series by Jana Deleon which gets super outlandish but I LIVE for it!!

I don’t know if anyone else has answered your question about the oven but we had that same problem and it was the temperature sensor, it costs about $150 to replace but it’s cheaper than a new oven. Btw love the long videos!
I’ve just found myself in a historical romance mood and I’m loving it! The meddle and mend series by Sarah Wallace is so good, and if you want the fantasy and mystery elements a marvellous light by Freya marske was amazing! I finished it yesterday and already have the rest of the series reserved at the library

About your oven: I am not an appliance repair technician, but I can google stuff really well 😅 and it seems to be a faulty safety thermostat. Which is a good thing that could be much cheaper to fix it than getting a new oven 🤷♀️

I couldn't agree more on your thoughts regarding the Finlay Donovan series. I just finished the 4th book on Friday and loved it. I have loved all of them. The 3rd book was my least favorite, but I still really, really enjoyed it. It's like, the people still complaining about the series, we're on book 4, honestly nothing about the books has changed, it you don't like this type of Cozy Mystery, than stop reading the series! LOL -- don't just reading expecting it to change and then bring her overall rating! Hahaha -- Anywho, glad you enjoy the series as well!
The second was my least I think, but even that is just barely! I love the series so much, now I wanna reread Hahahha

I fully agree with your assessment of Finlay + booktube! I remember when book 2 came out there was a lot of discourse about it not being great and I was like oooohhh y’all have not ready many cozies. I recommend the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evonavitch!

Id recomend the "loop earplugs" for sleep. Im a really light sleeper and whenever my boyfriend comes to bed when I'm sleeping I also get scared awake too but the ear plugs have completely eliminated the problem. I'm sleeping deeper and they're so comfy. I now can't sleep without them lol I swear as soon as I pop them in it's like my brain falls into another realm lol

Liv, the issue with the oven could be the thermostat, especially if the oven shuts off but it doesn't trip the breaker.
I’ll check that! Is it a thermostat within the oven I’m looking for? (I’m a new homeowner so I don’t know much, I’ll be honest 🤣)

I had to dnf fragile enchantment, sadly it wasn’t the vibe for me. Nothing is worse than noticing a pimple appear out of nowhere on the way to work…though a rock hit my windshield last month (at least it’s free to replace in Florida).
