> With every eye closed and every head bowed and no one looking around < is also not found in the Bible. By the way: The Church will go through the Great Tribulation , but will be raptured just before the wrath of the Lamb will start.
Was the rapture imminent in say 800AD? 1700AD? When did it become “any moment?” Prior to Darby and Irving, who taught “imminent rapture?” And if the rapture AND THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD IN CHRIST had happened in say 800AD, are we to believe we’d be in heaven 1,100+ years before Israel regained sovereignty and retook Jerusalem and the Temple Mount? THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD IN CHRIST CANNOT BE, MUST NOT BE, DECOUPLED FROM THE RAPTURE. And if the rapture and resurrection had happened, imminently, during the apostolic era, there would have been no church age of grace…”the mystery.” etc.
The entire 70th Week is NOT the “great tribulation.” The Week is divided into 3 parts: 1.“the beginning of sorrows”…2.”the great tribulation” (cut short by the resurrection of the dead in Christ and rapture of surviving believers) …3. “the day of the Lord.” Referring to the 70th Week as the “tribulation period” is misleading. anyway just as Noah and Lot got out, we’re rescued, the same day the flood came and the fire and brimstone fell, so it will be for the believers on the very day the Day of the Lord begins.
Why is the resurrection of the dead in Christ not included in the timeline chart; why is it not cited along with the rapture? Why do any-moment-rapture teachers rarely include the resurrection of the dead in Christ in their charts?
This is the only pastor besides my pastor that that teaches a sound gospel, Amen
