Great sounding brew day mate. Lots of great advice about your water additions etc. Hope you had a great Christmas. All the best for the New Year. Cheers 🍻
Happy Christmas Finn. I seem to have lost my pH meter after a brewday but haven't missed it. Im trusting my brew software and it seems to be working so far 👍
@@BigBananaBrewing yeah i know what you mean. I need to get my sparge pH down so it comes in handy. Although, it was 10 mls of lactic acid in 15.5 liters bought it down to a pH of 5.5 . And yeah cant see why it wont be the same next time. Cheers mate had to take a break half way through your xmas/new year video for a rest. Great video though. Cheers mate and happy new year.
Great video. The beer looks fantastic! Nice scale there. I've got one like that too, which I use for small hop additions and other stuff. I've also got a larger scale for grains and bigger hop additions. Sounds like you had an excellent Christmas and brew day.👍I enjoyed hearing about how your brewing process. Easy to follow.👍 😎Cheers mate, and Merry Christmas!🍺🎄
Thanks so much Dave. Yes quite often its more about the brewing process than the recipe and equipment. A few key things like water chemistry and fermentation temp are all it takes to take home brewing to the next level. Ive watched quite a few of your videos by way of Dons channel from scotland. Cheers and happy new year mate.
Great video, mate. Excellent explanation of your processes. The XPA looks fantastic! I’ve been contemplating buying some scales to measure coffee but I’m assuming they could be used for measuring hops too. I currently use a cheap set of digital kitchen scales but I’m not sure how accurate they are. Merry Christmas and cheers!
Yeah ,we often make do with what weve got. I think, now, that these little scales are perfect for getting a good reading for small measurements we often need in brewing. Cheers Hef, happy new year.
