Complications during root canal treatment

If a broken instrument cannot be retrieved, it may require additional treatment, such as surgical removal or filling the tooth with a different material.
Perforation: Root canal treatment involves removing the infected or damaged tissue from the inside of the tooth. However, there is a risk of inadvertently perforating the tooth, which is creating a hole in the tooth or damaging the surrounding structures, such as the root or the adjacent tooth.
