I loved my Mommie, #1 because God commands us to Honor our Mother's and Father's. #2 because she was mine and I truly loved her with all my heart. I loved buying her "just because" gifts. Your mum is an incredibly wise and humble woman with an amazing sense of humour. Your relationship with your mother is absolute goals, I have a bad relationship with both my parents so your lucky to have a great mum

The way you’ve been talking recently about feeling like a different person, I wouldn’t be surprised if in 5 years time they’ll be a couple of kids running around. I was like you until I hit 30 and then I started getting broody. So your mum just needs to be patient! 😉
I think young women will one day regret or change their minds in their 30/40s about having children. I had my 1st and only child at 27 and I felt like I was so behind my peers. I felt old! For medical reasons I wasn’t able to have more children 😢 I found myself crying in the isle of Walmart one year when I realized I will never buy classroom Valentines ever again! I got to buy them for 6 years. The time with children goes so quickly! You only get so many years of Santa. I do believe having children matures you in a way nothing else can. It also heals your heart in a way no therapist or antidepressant ever could. In the grand scheme of things 18 years of your possible 80 something years is nothing! A drop in the bucket. You absolutely miss little toys and fingerprints. My heart sank when I finally threw away the basket of bath tub toys under my sink that haven’t been touched in 6 years and won’t be touched again.
I was the same about saying I didn't want children I wasn't raised much round children either I would say its very different with your own that's very true for me I think deep down I did want children as I'd do a pregnancy test if I was late on and be sad when I saw 1 line but I think deep down I just was scare to make that massive decision and take that leap into motherhood but I'm so glad I have but it did take me till 26 and 9 years into a relationship I did constantly get asked did I want children and it was a little annoying go with your heart not any fears or expectations that's all I'd say 🥰
