Shadow Claw has been a good move since day 1 and they kept buffing it, so it still is. Play Rough could be unfair if you're in 1v1, but in a team fight you would really prefer Shadow Claw. If I could nerf Mimikyu, I would nerf its Unite move preventing it to being effective on Unstoppable targets, Shadow Claw's damage and Shadow Sneak's healing. Play Rough is strong because the rest of Mimikyu's kit is broken. It's very similiar to Zeraora's case, with Discharge always being the better move despite the invincibility that Wild Charge gives

Play Rough is way better compared to Wild Charge because you don't have to charge it to do more damage, and Shadow Sneak's stun makes is way easier to land instead of having to jump in with Spark and getting damaged in the process
Except wild charge sucks in team fight because it will always target the higher hp opponent, you need to grind to get WC+ to at least do something.
The more I look at how shadow sneak works in this game, I keep thinking it's a bug

I think the problem is mimikyu's skill is much like speedster skill. It has damage as speedster. But it's finally all rounder.
The thing that deters me from Shadow Claw is the prevalence of CC.
Unfortunately, like buzzwole's Life Leech. Mimi's Shadow Claw has the same interruptions. Which messes the fluidity.
I started with Shadow Claw when it got buffed and wondered why it wasnt played more. But over time it was quite easy to know why, even more now. Play Rough just has more consistency. The immunity is such a good safety net. In combination with Shadow Sneak healing, the moveset is overall strong.
The biggest weakness of Play Rough is Team Play and bulkiness. Bulkiness can be fixed with revenger mechanic. Team Play can be played around by using Shadow Sneak, playing back, relying on your team and just sniping and getting out.
I wished Shadow Claw had more viability because it is really fun to play.

I think shadow claw are better for longer survivability since its restore small amount of hp and relatively short cooldown, while play rough are more suitable for hit and run type of player and have another player as a tandem for source of healing and buff also while using this skill mimikyu arent affected by hindrance, both skills is powerful depending on your playstyle + if you combine it with good emblem then mimikyu is one of the highest damage dealer in this game

I still don't know what i should use. Shadow claw provides healing and damage for teamfights, but play rough is good for in and out ganking. I'm more comfortable using shadow claw but i wanna learn play rough

Shadow claw mimikyu is one of the best designed movesets I've ever played out of so many games. Its so fun.
Definitely needs nerfs but it's so much fun to play

@@zecomrade82 agreed on shadow sneak, I love how you need to know the walls and wild pokemon very well to play it at high proficiency. As for claw, I'm sorry but it's just so spammy and boring. I tried it but I just like the skill expression on play rough more

Yeah I went against a comfey mimi yesterday,and they destroyed us with this move set they had around 40-41 ko over 200k damage like how did this mon not get nerfed

Shadow claw mimikyu is very good, as it is not only powerful, but a lot easily punishable.......
Unlike play rough, which gives invincibility on such a low cooldown. I think 1 sec cooldown should be increased on play rough to become fairer........
@@WorldSlash-zy5ch play rough is the higher skill cap move, the cooldown is pretty long for a move that's your bred and butter (shadow sneak is used first to engage) I use play rough cause I like how fluid it feels but it definitely has weaknesses and honestly shadow claw might be better

@@piercemat331 it's just because unite doesn't have subcategories like league. Like, blissey and mime are both supports but the former is an enchanter and the latter is a controller. Cinderace, Cramorant and pikachu are all attackers but they are respectively an adc, a battle mage and an artillery mage. Categories just don't really matter.
@@nicolomanfrini8671 Tyranitar, Armarouge, Buzzwole, and Metagross should fit defender not the mosquito, robot, and dinosaur all rounders and cannon attacker.

Actually a lot 😂 if you hit them and combine them with any move they always kill multiple enemies. Venusaur unite + solar beam is guaranteed kill
Pikachu deal 70% damage to all enemy team while spamming electo ball and locomovolte with 0 cooldown... come on man
it is not, umbreon passive + wish is usually just enough to survive it.
I think Pokemon Unite's end of service will be earlier than serious nerf of Mimikyu

Can you suggest some Pokémons from all the roles Attacker,All Rounder,Defender,Speedster and Supporter and after that suggest some Pokémons that are really good in this meta and some who are really bad in this meta because I'm confused which Pokémon to buy and which to not buy
Tinkaton, psyduck, Darkrai, Glaceon, Espeon, Ho oh, Snorlax, Trevenant, Zeraora, Ceruledge, mimikyu, Zacian, Clefable, Blissey, Eldegoss, Wigglytuff when with darkrai and comfey are all great mons.

Play rough is easy mode. Shadow claw is god mode
Let’s be honest. I would rather fight against Shadow Claw Mimikyu than Play Rough Mimikyu because it’s less unfair and it’s easy to beat it with stuns. Also Unite Move needs a damage nerf at this point. It’s just annoying. I would only nerf Play Rough and Unite Move for this mon. That’s it.
What needs a nerf is shadow sneak. The reset is broken
I don't fear shadow claw mimi even in team fight or in 1v1 but play rough is really nightmare when I'm already in 1v2 and mimi uses play tough
Shadow sneak is turbo broken. You can miss and it will still hit and it applies fear. Ridiculous.
The problem ain't shadow sneak it's the two bull shit moves that pairs with it. Shadow claw or play rough.
