Especially if you actually want stuff that's decent quality. At least for keyboards you could like custom order a Ducky but you'll be paying a lot more money for it. Then there's the problem of even if they make a white variant of whatever part you want the chances are the local store won't have any in stock. Before the whole parts shortage for instance at my local PC store white GPUs were special order only. The manager said barely anyone bought the white ones so they couldn't justify keeping them on hand. Fair, I guess. Personally I would LOVE to see PC design move away from giant black boxes and rectangles but for my next build I'm definitely going back to just blacks and greys or whatever. I can't hamstring myself on part selection again.
