I am studying Genesis 2:15 ("The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it." - ESV), in particular the meaning of "work" and "keep". It seems to me understanding both terms through a lens of Foucault's view of power could be very useful. Perhaps we can view "work" (also "till"/"dress") as an exercise of power by Adam for the garden's good. There are other powers that can also exert themselves on the garden that may need to be acted against for the garden's good and protection (hence "keep"). Keep the cows out of the flower beds. Thinking through this in a pre-fall context really broadens the view of power.
But our struggle with the flesh mess up our love for ADONAI,which mess up our love for our fel- low mortals. We speak as if we been walking with The PARACLETE from conception 🤔 🗣👥 👤 🙄
Michel Foucault was not a great thinker. I really would like to know what's the criteria to be a "great" thinker. It seems, at first glance, that greatness is simply popular within academia and intellectual circles.
Fantastic more Christopher Watkin, always an interesting program when he's on
Absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for sharing.
Excellent discussion. I am always stretched by Christopher Watkin.

«great» isn't necessary positive, its just in a sense of «big» or «influential».
This whole podcast is satanic.
So we are not inherently fallen ! ? So we have not
lost our Imago DEI , we do not arrive without our likeness to ADONAI 🧬 🧶🧩 🧵 🎭
