    Great video!! i have something similar on a Raspi4. But why not use the fstab method instead?

      Because doing like this is universal across systemd distros. Upto and including the likes of NixOS and Fedoras Atomic Desktops.

    I am also using steam on hyprland and having the same issues with menus in steam. I found the following window rules solve the issue.
    windowrulev2 = stayfocused, title:^()$,class:^(steam)$
    windowrulev2 = minsize 1 1, title:^()$,class:^(steam)$

      I actually had to rerecord the video about 6 times because hyprland kept crashing or the portal kept crashing on me.

    from what i understand mount mounts it everytime you reboot is it is enabled while automount mounts on request kinda like socket triggered services, which are services that run when socket is hit

      mount will mount every time on system boot, but what about the server rebooting? It tried 3 times and just exits citing a failure in the system journal. Whereas autommount will call the mount each time there's a call to index/read the mount point

      @@10leej that was more general observation because it was unclear at least to me that mount is all you need of you just qant mount at boot time aka same as fstab
