Great idea to fill the macaroons with caulk… I was going to use spackle.
I always add paint to my spackle, caulk, clay etc. as I like my materials to have a very white finished look but the caulk idea for the macaroons is a great idea!! Thank you!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you don’t have acrylic paint or food coloring gel ( the gel works fabulous) to color your Model Magic or PlayCode3 clay…… just use your bright markers. You may have to keep dotting it 15-20 times but it works quickly and beautifully 🙋‍♀️

I'm working on an entire fake bake tablescape, so I looked up prices on Etsy for some tiny little you can barely see them macarons and they were charging insane prices so as per usual, I said, I could probably do that myself, and low and behold I have. I made 16, inch and a half macarons (which will later work for some photoshoots I'm doing as well), in all different rainbow colors thanks to your easy instruction. Took forever with all that toothpicking, lol, but I am obsessed. I love real macarons and these look super realistic especially with the "filling inside." I also got lucky and found some caulk for the filling at DT (usually mine is forever out of the stuff) so that saved me a few more dollars buying in bulk for other fake bake projects.

Girl these are so cute thanks for sharing. P.S. I made the red white and blue mini jello molds with resin and they came out beautiful. Thanks for your help. The first time I tried it I put one color on top of the other and it was a fail. The second time I did it I poured one color and waited for it to dry and then did the same with the next two colors. I forgot to add: re: selling fake bakes: I set up a craft table at a Saturday indoor craft show, I put a light pink table cloth on it with my first attempt at fake bakes with levels of high/low tier trays/glass cake dishes, lined cookie filled baskets, tea cups and it looked like a baked goods table! I sold quite a few whole 🎂 🧁🍪.
The best part was a man walked by, came back and said oh no, I can’t eat any of this, I’m diabetic!!! We had such a good laugh!! (I even used paper mache bc it was so cheap to make before I used caulking and joint compound.
Your beautiful creations would sell out in a heartbeat at a show.

Hi Diana! I purchased this set. It has 4 different molds. @ are the whole macaron and 2 are individual so you can make your own. They are not big. So with the whole macaron you can just paint the middle part any color you want.
