    Drumm made the most insightful comment yet; Oklahoma needs to find an offense that complements the defense, an offense that runs the ball and cares about winning time of possession, thus allowing the defense to rest. Agreed!

    I know how the OU offense has been but defense wins championships. If you can shut out your opponent or hold them to very few points your offense does not have to score 50 points in every game!

    Sherrone Moore would be a good fit,if he doesn't take the Indiana job. It's time to get SEC ready the Art Briles offense mixed with some Air Raid is great for the Big 12. It's time to get back to complementary football.

  • @tssme
    @tssme 10 месяцев назад

    24 mins in and Brandon/Parker couldn't come up with worse names except Stein (who is a pipe dream). I'd rather have Denton's HC as the OC than Sonny Cumbie.
    Petrino would be a really good OC. Not flashy but his resume speaks for itself. It would be nuts if we at least didn't even interview Korn. Hiring Matt Wells = BV might as well start making a 2 year plan b/c Wells' offenses have not been great anywhere. They won't be great at OU and BV will likely be without a job in 2 years. Littrell would be a reasonable choice given his resume.

    You think Lebby has been working on this new job for a while? Has he been recruiting for his new job in advance? He coincidently left OU with no depth at QB strangely. He brought in 6 QB's with him and all that is left behind JA is Davis Beville, you remember him from the OU star of the 2022 Texas game. All those QB's left, and he Lebby kept the worst of them all. OU was not in Jeff Lebby's plans for a while.

      @@YeahBoom140that defense has kept Oklahoma in games that could have gotten out of hand. Remember the goal line stop against Texas, Kansas, and Okla. St.? And the goal line interception against Texas, the (2) int. against Kansas? The game winning int. against BYU? Hey, the defense ain't great, but it was good enough for the '#4' offense to keep this team undefeated. But, the offense didn't deliver under pressure, but the defense did.

    Lebby’s offense scored a lot of points but at the expense of the defense.. Time management hurt OU big time vs OSU approx. 40 minutes for OSU and approx. 20 minutes for OU!!! This is rediculous……The new OC will need to have a game plan that compliments the defense.. The Kansas game showed me that Lebby had to go plus I still cannot get over the horror of what happened on the Baylor campus under Briles!!!!!!!

    • @soonerman5172
      @soonerman5172 10 месяцев назад

      You’re an idiot, if your daughter was assaulted, I’m sure you would have gone to the title 9 department instead of the police? That’s what happened at Baylor. Briles is the one that notified the police, not the families. This was the biggest scam in the history of college football. They said the culture at Baylor was full of criminals and ten players were going to jail. One player went to jail and it was actions away from Baylor. Know the facts before you and others spew pablum. This whole story was contrived because a high school football coach was destroying established coaches into oblivion and white families hated that their daughters were screwing black players at Baylor. This why the families did not go to the police and went to the title 9 department instead. They wanted their daughters names kept out of the press. This is all fact whether you believe it or not.

    BV is going to eventually hire a real defensive coordinator that not only can compete for the SEC but have a chance for a national title every year. That isn’t BV but I believe he can be a decent head coach. It’s time to get back to the Barry days . We haven’t won 3 national championships since. We haven’t won any.
