Bro its ganna be so hype hey, i think the coolest thing will be when funcom doesnt support the community properly and heaps of chinese flood the servers, cheating, exploiting and damaging the servers just like Conan exiles. Or like when you and the boys actually manage to get a recording of them meshing your base and send it in, and nothing happens. Ganna be so pog. Just doin some casual pvp and they're speedhacking , hitbox pulling you and they have increased attack speed, i trust funcom with this wholeheartedly and 100% believe this wont be the same as conan.
Dam characters that actually kinda look like people and not just an acceptance of what characters have to look like in videogames, ironic given the genre of Dune. The servers give me Last Oasis vibes
Not a big fan of alternate histories. But by jove, I think the approach they've gone with here is awesome! Only time I saw this with Dune done well before was with Dune 2000.
This game isn't gonna be an MMO and it won't play like an MMO. I'd be surprised if they even have more than 15 people in the "pvp zone".. They are just using flashy tags for marketing. Same thing Blizzard did with Diablo4 - literally never see more than a couple people in a town hub and people don't inherently affect your gameplay
It's hard to say based off what they put out. It has survival building elements like Rust but they also claim to have massive server sizes so there's potentially a lot more players in game at one time more like an MMO. We'll have to see.
