Even if you manage to get inside with it, it won't be honored. You only need your int'l passport, confirmation page, passport photographs and the confirmation of your appointment. Any other thing won't be honored. Except students Visa occasionally. But for B1B2, no other document is required. Like you said, you only need to convince the visa officer within 2-3 minutes. Have you used a travel agent before? If yes you might have been banned and the agent didn't tell you. There is a document you can request for that will show why you were denied

If it’s US denial you don’t need to be ban to be denied even 10 times. You probably haven’t proved to have country ties if ure given visa.
