So what will be the requirement to build the HA, Is it a mandate to keep two SilverPeak HA B2B connected or is it fine if they are connected in two different sites extended over a VLAN?
No they do not need to be directly connected for HA to work, however, you want to try and stay under 5-7 ms of delay on the link that connects the two. If the data centers are beyond that you may want to handle a HA design via routing within the Silver Peak edges.
