I got an hour 1/2 drive from the city back home and I always listen to this podcast, definitely one of if not the best podcast out there. Keep up the good work Miles and Charlie. Cut grass and eat bass
Love you guys!❤️ You both make me laugh! I look forward to these videos! I know that hymn you were singing! I was a Catholic! Your advice, love it! Charlie, I have listened to your audio! Really enjoyed it! 🇨🇦🥰👍🇨🇦
You folks that work out in the winter elements need to look into insulated fleece lined hiking, fishing, snowboarding pants. They make a tons of varieties they also have some with suspenders but I use a brand that's about $45/50 bucks my son loved them he was looking for something that he could move around in but keep warm and it didn't take 15 min just to try and take a leak. He did construction and landscaping and got 2 pairs and he used them for 2 winters no problem
Scott, Stockton, MO is where you need to go. Stockton Lake is a great fishing, boating, and sailing lake. The people are friendly and it's only an hour away from Springfield, Branson, etc. My parents retired there and lived there for 30 years. My dad was able to golf every single month of the year. Yes, it does get cold occasionally and it doesn't stay that way. Yes, it gets hot and humid but you have the lake to hang out at and cool down. The mosquitoes are not nearly as bad in Missouri as they are in WI, the Dakotas and other northern towns. You definitely don't want to live in IL. We moved away from there 3 years ago due to the tax situation and the high cost of living.
Hey boys... great show. I love sitting back an cracking a cold one, sitting back in the davenport, eating some squeakers... my dogs staring at me waiting a few 😂 😂... Keep up the great work you two. Tell the folks I said hey.
For Scott from Greenville: Indianapolis has a great concert scene. Tons of independent artists and several scenic venues. The White River venue is one of my favorites. Fort Wayne is also a stop on the winter jam tour as well.
Can confirm about the bowling stuff and wheels. Uncle works at a plant that does polyurethane in various molds. Last time we visited him there he was making wheels for roller skates. Roll on!
As a Brunswick Mechanic this episode hits hard with me. Bowling balls are Made out of plastic, urethane or resin. Resin hooks the most. Plastic goes straight. Pins are wood core with nylon and surlyn.
My three kids all had bowling in middle school gym class in the ‘90s, in Wisconsin. I went bowling with them and my bowling ball from the ‘70s wouldn’t hook anymore. When I found out that I’d have to buy a new bowling ball to throw strikes and they also recommended having a spare ball and it was three bucks a game. I quit bowling. It’s too bad. It used to be a fun date. It’s another reason young people have trouble finding fun dates.
I love that miles looks just plowed this episode. Have either of you guys had ice hole mint. It is my favorite thing to drink next to a busch latte. If you like the mint it makes the beer taste colder!
Southern Indiana is warmer and still part of the Midwest. No matter where you go in the Midwest you’re going to get ice so personally, I prefer living in Wisconsin where you actually can enjoy winter sports.
The clothing changes between episodes to break up the continuity is great. I can imagine an old guy in MN being really confused and accusing them of trying to be fancy 😂
Hey I don't know if you guys were these comments but a while back and one of your early podcast you guys said that you post the phone number on your Instagram stories and along with the topic of the day but I haven't seen the phone number so how exactly are people contacting you if the phone number isn't publicly available?
Thanks for sharing pictures of the bowling alley! since the first podcast in this bar I imagined what it looks like.

Drink Wisconsinably
It's no gambling. Its investing and the markets HOT!
Went to High school in both Connecticut and South Carolina, not once was bowling even mentioned in any gym classes let alone how to play it.

On Eagles wings. One of my favorite hymns. One day you boys will know more of the words.
Here they are in case you want to read up before the next episode:
"You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord
Who abide in His shadow for life
Say to the Lord, "My refuge, my rock in whom I trust!"
And He will raise you up on eagles' wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand
The snare of the fowler will never capture you
And famine will bring you no fear
Under His wings your refuge, His faithfulness your shield
And He will raise you up on eagles' wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand
You need not fear the terror of the night
Nor the arrow that flies by day
Though thousands fall about you, near you it shall not come
And He will raise you up on eagles' wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand
For to His angels He's given a command
To guard you in all of your ways
Upon their hands they will bear you up
Lest you dash your foot against a stone
And He will raise you up on eagles' wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand
And hold you, hold you in the palm of His hand"

This one's for the second Kenosha has someone of beaches don't know about construction pretty damn close to the lakes
I love you guys when you speak I feel it in the heart the heartlands it is you're speaking my tongue and I feel like you've been in my backyard before
It is the humidity down here not the heat.
At 10:46 the bowling pin magically transforms into a bottle of Tippy Cow.
I will buy a "rollin' urethane" shirt
Midwest winter = summer's toothbrush

Please do the rolling urethane shirt!

If you want Midwest life without Midwest temp, you want Western Kentucky. Cheap to live here too.
This one goes out to the first caller they make a Milwaukee heated jacket there around two hundred bucks and I think they sell them at farm & fleet
Yo! Maine? We could use ya over to the North East, Set Up at None such Brewery, drink some ale and have some fun
First time watching. Are you guys from the Midwest or some shit?
