I am a huge fan of Dragon Quest music despite having not played the games. It is utterly fantastic music and pulled me through some very difficult times.
@@Nate-ll4do i made this comment before the new chapters were a thing and im so happy for gohan now. i understand he dislikes fighting, but he should at least be ready for the event that he may need to someday. i mean, goku, vegeta and piccolo arent gonna be around forever. and the other z fighters dont even try anymore.
@@daniyalhussain4174 No doubt, also, despite what they could do with the limited technology at the time I'm going to throw Dragon Quest 1 in there as one of the darkest. If you talk to all the NPC's a lot of them have just flat out given up. They think the Dragonlord is too powerful and are just waiting for him to destroy them. As you are going through the world you see gravestones everywhere and even a destroyed town inhabited by nothing but monsters (which we learn from Dragon Quest 3 used to be a flourishing town). The music also tells this tale well. The over world theme has a very melancholy tone that invokes sadness. The battle theme is chaotic and just sounds dangerous and also how the dungeon music slows down and gets more foreboding as you go deeper and deeper into them really brings a sense of dread. Despite the technical limitations of early NES development, Dragon Quest 1 is really a beautiful game and I think they told a wonderfully depressing/dark yet hopeful story without directly telling a story (through like cut scenes and stuff). The world and your experiences as a lone hero are the story. It's great stuff.
I can remember battle theme if the opening part is unique so I can remember 1, 3, 4 battle theme precisely, but I really can't remember 2, 5 until mid part Maybe I still don't play far enough
But why? The hero chooses to stay blue-pilled after being red pilled so hard! But fr though, I just wanted to see what nimzo would look like, so im kinda disappointed, but if u like the ending, then that's ok bro
@Jale Gale I digged the Twist on it. While it was the same Overall Story. It was changed to a different environment and everything. Different Events following the same story. The exclusion of the Hero's daughter confused me but. It reflects how much The Japanese felt towards the series. And why it's so important to them. If you were Japanese. You'd understand the ending
The ending was horrible. I get the message it was trying to push, but it sorta invalidated the entire adventure. This movie didn't need a message. It should have just been a fun fantasy movie.
Dragon quest battle themes always hit so much harder once you’ve played the game
I agree!

Me and the boys going to fight Bjorn:
V had some brutal bosses for sure
Gohan: Who are you?
Hero's son: I'm you, but I didn't squander my potential.
Gohan is currently stronger than Goku

My favorite Dragon Quest battle music!
This sounds like something out of Star Wars, truly amazing and fantastic themes
Yeah it's a fantastic album.
John Williams and Koichi Sugiyama both got musical influences from Gustav Holst and Piotr Illych Tchaikovsky.
4:03 it gets awesome :D
+MyTower IsanEyefull I totally agree!
I believe that is the boss theme. And boss it is.
it sounds like "defending a town" music to me... anyone else feel that?
Aaron Pruefert that, with a bit tower stair climbing.
DQV seems to be the darkest in the series.
The PS2 version have this orchestral soundtrack
i think dq7 is the darkest....
Jonathan Andreas Nah, it’s definitely 5. Although 7 has some pretty dark moments.
I heard 11 is darker
Thought Iv was quite dark, the heroes village got massacred, his father struck by thunder,Psaro going insane and roses death.

Rest in peace, sir
we need a ps4/5 remake.
@Michael Berkley They did a phone one already.
Ps2 port will be good to have here as a remaster for the ps4
They are remaking 3 in the 2DHD engine they used for octopath traveller
The fact they didn't announce a Remake for it's 30th Anniversary saddens me
i Love the Battle themes but it gets real scary at 4:03
this is good soup 1000/10
Chi qui dopo il boss di dario moccia?
ho sentito questa canzone nel film di dragon quest e l'ho trovata molto familiare, grazie per avermi detto dove l'avessi sentita

@@MHA-TSBroI felt the same way. I actually enjoyed the ending, though when I played 5 I wish they didn't exclude just a few things
