Your videos convinced me to get one after finding a used copy locally, and I'm loving the shooting experience so far! Thank you for the videos! Wondering for your shots, if you ever try to optimize for SOOCs, or mainly do post editing in LR?
Nice! I learned something new about my D-Lux; however I may be the most impressed with how well behaved your dogs are. 😊 Great job to whoever trained them and to you for getting out and exercising them regularly. 🤩
Ha thanks for watching. Yeah I "trained" them myself I joke around that they are spoiled with 3 walks a day minimum and eat good. that alone solves behavior problems. My husky is most well behaved husky around. Just cant trust him off leash. He's chased deer, ducks, birds and squirrels regardless off how good his recall is. he checks out. Also has climbed a tree chasing a squirrel per dog walker. She had never seen a dog climb a tree like that haha.
@danieldijo great video, learned something about the LUMIX / D-Lux line, currently tempted by the D-Lux 8. Btw, what are the songs you use in the video, especially one (girl is singing) my brain cannot get rid of.
Great video and summary of the benefits of this excellent camera. I also own and adore using the LX100ii and for a 7th reason......the multi aspect ratio sensor and external selector (you highlighted this in your previous video). You approach your image taking in a different way as you think about the desired end result / composition and select the aspect ratio as part of the image taking process, rather than post production cropping. It adds a new dynamic to your photography as you illustrated with your selection of 1:1, 16:9 images.
@@Brightsparks1960 I agree I like the ability to change aspect ratios as well. I enjoy going square format or 16:9 for more cinematic feel. Might have to make second vid. 5 more reasons haha
One I found is original one off ebay. Panasonic DMW-LFAC1K Automatic Lens Cap for Lumix DMC-LX100 Camera Black. JCC pros is its cheaper and rumored you can have a filter under it. On Lumix one It doesn't allow enough clearance under auto-cap to have a filter as well.
What do you think of Leica D Lux 8, going to be better experience? If I going to want to have just one camera, is the Zf better with a 28-400mm since it going to fun with the dedicated dials too plus that lens cover a lot range but bigger tho, is that size matter? Also hey Daniel, my name is Johnny and I'm a freelance logo designer, currently I'm looking for more works, do you love to have a logo for your channel's branding to have a memorable graphic based monogram logo to help your audience recognise and follow your channel easier? I would love to design a photography themed logo inspired by your direction for you! Let me know if you interested to make it happen! :-)
Hi Johnny, thanks for watching and the comment. I I think Lumix LX100ii or Leica d-lux 7 are best value for everyday photography and street. D-lux 8 would be nice if you can get for retail. but no necessary. Lumix interchangeable lenses might be better if you need longer range from time to time. 24-75mm is standard.
@@danieldijo might not enough reach but let's see when I ave the money, but do you love to have a logo for your channel to have a memorable branding for your audience? :-)

Great review!
Thank you honored by positive response on this video
Cool summary! What is the fold open-close lens cap that you have on the lens? Is that a JJC cap? Thanks!

@@danieldijo Got it. Thank you. I may opt for the JJC one then. Although it seems the original Panasonic lens cap looks nicer though haha
what is that lense hood at the end? is it only a protector or something? :D sorry for asking
