RMR Project 1: Tube Linear Restoration Heathkit SB-1000

Jarrad VK3BL - a secret lover of large glass envelope tubes - has always wanted a linear featuring the mighty Eimac 3-500Z tube.
When a Heathkit SB-1000 came up for sale that needed a few repairs, we just couldn't turn it down.
The Heathkit SB-1000 is basically an Ameritron AL-80A; this means not only are full build instructions available from Heathkit, but any and all parts are still available through Ameritron!
Basically, it's the perfect first project amplifier, and being simple in design, should make for a perfect introduction to tube amplifier maintenance for Rate My Radio viewers.
