Solid analysis of Mexico's economic challenges, but comparing it to China misses the mark. Mexico's democratic institutions, labor rights, and integration with the US economy create a fundamentally different development path. Instead of asking why Mexico isn't China, we should examine how it can better leverage its unique advantages in North American trade and manufacturing. The "Two Mexicos" divide is the real story here. 🇲🇽

It's a combination of things, the most important is bad marketing and ignorance from other countries, there is a lot of bad propaganda against Mexico in movies, Netflix etc. That's starting to change in recent years. Second thing is economic policy, interest rates are very high compared to US which makes borrowing expensive and makes financial institutions to have less appetite for risk. Third is corruption at all levels and the lack of justice in general. those are the 3 pillars of why Mexico is struggling to have exponential growth. but now that I'm thinking about it, I think it's generally okay, the country has changed a lot in the last 4 years, I can't imagine if things would change more Mexico would be a very different country from what we know right now, the acceleration of change it's already massive, good for some and bad for others, the majority in fact; a lot of people are being displaced by lots of foreigners already and people are not happy with that.

Low productivity is definitely the biggest issue in Mexico, every year I see hundreds of industrial engineering students graduate and nothing to show for it. Definitely something needs to be done in their formation, to be fair they are the biggest idiots of engineering schools. Outside of maquilas every workflow is documented through whatsapp that's also another issue, everything just seems to lack structure.
I agree, it’s really big the amount of industrial engineers graduating every year but that’s why the competitiveness in that area. In the other hand with my experience, civil engineer has a very small amount of graduates but everyone is working before even graduating due the big demand
Mexican salaries are supelow for most, no negotiations between workers, unions and employers, productivity increased but payment didn’t, this means internal consumption and savings are non existent for the most of mexicans and this means low sales and no money available to give credit to expand businesses. Mexican businesses are hostile to automation and technology also.
I am Chinese. We Chinese admit that Mexicans are more hardworking than Chinese. But China is a strong country, while Mexico has no possibility of becoming a strong country. Because of the different political systems. Mexico copied the political system of the United States incorrectly, which makes its government lack the ability to correct mistakes and fight corruption, and is directly subject to the United States in geopolitics. China has stable development under the leadership of the C\C\P.
It's really disappointed for every nation in North or south America are struggling where instead of Usa or Canda. So this are great concern for every nation in both continent. Where some neighbours are very rich like u.sa or canda and Uruguay and Domican Republic etc. that's biggest reason for this struggling nations are instability in there politics or Management while interference by U.S 🇺🇲 in there every sectors many examples like Panama, cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, so This countries need to decrease dependence or influence from Usa...
Canada is also struggling, sure not as bad as Latin america but still not doing great. USA looks great but inflation and inequality is causing issues too.
These countries are already broken in regards to independence. Independence in this form essentially means most people lose their jobs and the standard of living drops by crazy amounts. The issue is corruption in the government systems in all of those countries. As well as local uncaring attitudes toward this. People would rather chase Americans out of a neighbourhood because of gentrification raising their rent. But a politician stealing 100 million this year? No big deal as long as they setup good social programs to hide the loss of all the tax growth for that year. Booming economy? Won’t ever go down to the little guys since again classism is a fantastic issue in these countries as well. But hey America is the main issue right?

We went from the 16th economy to the 12th surpassing Spain and South Korea, our gdp per capita surpassed Argentina’s and Brazil last year and we have the lowest unemployment in the OECD, what even are these videos? The near shoring has absolutely improved the economy of Mexico and it has grown constantly non stop since 2018.
No one really talks about this, as someone in the supply chain for years.. Quality control in Asia is sooooo much better than Latin America, even if the wages are not too different compared to developing asian countries compared to latin American counterparts. It is still cheaper to source from Asia including Ocean/Air freight and tarriff costs because there are way less quality problems and the Asian work culture is known to be long heavy hours, whereas in Latin America they have the concept of siesta. I have sourced from mostly Central American companies but I hear sourcing from South American countries are worse.
Yep. Mexicans and Mexico are to blame. Asian nations know their place as a "Manufacturing nation" something Mexicans are ashamed to admit. Their most valiable workforce goes to the Cartels. And they don't consume what they produce.
That happens when you suffer from a identity crisis and try to compare yourself to America. Mexico is a manufacturing country. It is not the United States. Mexicans also don't consume what they produce. Their experience in global manufacturing is zero to none. They could start somewhere but they have to get rid of the bad guys home.

When mentioned nafta instead of usmca, it lost me, and when you didn’t talk about the bienestar bank that is located nationwide. Corruption is worldwide
3:11 As much as I dislike the PRI, this devaluing of the peso was strategic to make Mexican exports more competitive in global markets. This encouraged companies to relocate to Mexico and build factories. this is sill ongoing today and every time the peso is gaining strength, policies are passed that purposefully devalue it to keep the competitive ness. when Mexico finally decides its industrial base and economy are robust enough, it has the means and industrial base to 'fix' this.
The enlisted reasons are nowhere near as important or relevant to the topic of discussion. How about the judicial reform and judicial uncertainty for foreign investors? How about other candidates in latinamerica to receive nearshoring? How about the reasons why tesla stopped the gigafactory in monterrey, is it really because of women not getting a job? Is it the opposite in China? So the cartels and being the most violent country that doesnt have or is involved in a war in the world have nothing to do? Step out of your privilege to see the world.
Comparing China and Mexico is so out of place, that is absurd to publish this piece, that is totally NOT objective. Is all about personal opinion, with an agenda. Just by the size of territory, number people living in those countries, the time frame that it has taken China to be today vs Mexico that started like a suden boom, is two different Animals. So, I say this to my Mexican people, do not listen, pay attention, get discourage and DO NOT lose focus by unreal and well-prepared Propaganda, to play with your minds. That is Trump has done in the USA and now they want to take away from you your merits, pride and dedication. I say it one more time, DO NOT LISTEN TO ANY HATERS, "Misery Loves Company" they envy what Mexico is today and they do not have the tools, diplomatic relations, nor the Intelligence that you possess. If you guys saw the Circus today deciding for the House Speaker, no need to explain how bad, unprofessional, divided and NO INTEGRITY. They were forced to vote for Johnson by Trump. They are only puppets. So why should you listen to Puppets. Keep the Circus away from you, guys. Trust your people, trust your Madam President, stay united.
America and Canada ,decoupling from China and buying more from the likes of Mexico and the Philippines, will make the latter grow their economies. If Mexico and the Philippines keep their labor cost below that of China and make their productivity grow ,these 2 countries will double their economies by 3034. There are other variables but this is correct in a nutshell.

Easy, I'll explain it in a few steps. Mexico has high labor benefits for workers, yes, they are relatively high for the Mexican context. Populist politicians try to apply first world policies without Mexico being first world, obviously they end up only giving crumbs, But that is enough to cut off the hiring capacity of small businesses due to their high entry cost. That is why the most prolific employers are foreign capital that can pay for that entry barrier, Then come the employers who start informally, avoiding the entry barrier, and then formalize when they have accumulated enough capital... But the very informal nature of the strategy makes it impossible to apply it in high-value companies where they need certification and high regulation. The processes of documentation related to the creation and management of businesses are super inefficient. There is no intention on the part of the government to provide basic information, the websites for consultation only have the title text written, The procedures are so complicated and inefficient that the most efficient thing to do is to hire a professional to delegate even the most basic tasks, and that has a high cost of entry and exit... And the icing on the cake is corruption and public workers who spend their time sleeping at their workplace while they have you waiting to do your paperwork, And good luck if they are just lazy because they can also be incompetent and have your documentation wrong or simply not know what to do and have you going around in circles on long transfers from one building to another. Many companies that want to start doing things formally end up disintegrating in their registration process. The domestic consumer market is affected by crime and government indifference. Contrary to popular belief, the Mexican government is using a lot of military resources to capture high-profile car tel members and prevent the transportation of illegal substances... That's where all the money and attention goes. They have the police in Mexico in ruins and without any equipment or training centers, no resources are allocated to securing the civilian population, They do not pay attention to the residual businesses of these criminal groups that undermine the country's productive activity. Consequently, there are not many entrepreneurs who want to risk being deprived of their freedom, either themselves or a family member... And those who do take risks do not make large investments because the "floor payment" that criminal groups demand consumes all the excess profits destined for investment, Added to this is the lack of interest and discouragement caused by the possibility that a floor payment due or an opposing gang might want to cut off the source of income for your debt collectors and your investment could end up burned. So there are not many end consumers in Mexico willing to buy machinery or equipment, And small businesses depend on the local consumer market to grow, so without customers there are no companies. If it wasn't obvious, there is also the government's lack of interest in forming a national industry. There is no support of any kind in financing or subsidies for key sectors, the closest thing we have is 3 bags of manure per month for farmers. (The Mexican who achieved the highest volume of corn per harvest was quickly contacted by the Chinese government and the Mexican government never showed up) (One of the best farmers in the world, a Mexican who was hired by the Salvadoran government and in two years turned an infertile agricultural sector into a fertile one, With such great growth that they began to issue work visas for their neighbors because the demand for labor increased too much) (Of course, none of them saw any support in Mexico and it was other countries that offered them support) There is no serious research and development center that helps companies develop new products or services, we do not have any university similar to the MIT for example. Our university research centres only serve as a breeding ground (cantera) for foreign companies, universities and governments... We invest money in training university researchers who, in the end, have to go to another country to complete their doctorates (80% of the researchers who go to other countries to complete their Investigation do not return to Mexico) because the country does not have the necessary infrastructure, e. g. Participation in NASA or other space agency projects, Mexico only makes contributions in data analysis and theoretical research with the instruments that other nations provide us, During participation in these projects, not a single screw is created or a single brick is placed in Mexico. (Just by taking a look at NASA's employee registry, a good portion is of Mexican origin) And recently the decision of politicians to adopt a new junk educational model brought directly from the United States. Our country depends on our cheap and qualified labor force, yet lately it wants to make it less cheap... And now they also want Mexican labor to stop being qualified. Conclusion, politicians do not even care about ensuring a prosperous country from which they can continue to make profits, and the population simply eats their snot. Politicians are happy to destroy their golden goose in exchange for being able to laze around and govern easily through populism. Mexico has not been interested in growing from the beginning, it is happy to just take advantage of the political and economic context as long as it can. Resigning themselves to only being a factory for the passage of foreign capital until they find another better country. Without plans for the future or any aspirations.
"Great diversity..." As if it anything good or inducing economic growth. Best example might be modern Germany, and its recent Christmas/New year celebration😂😂😂
Stop smoking that culture war brain rott. You clearly can't afford to lose any more braincells, 'diversity' is also an economic term that signifies that the economy is not dependent on one or a few industries.

Mexico depends on the usa. And because of a history of high control from goverment, asneo comunist experiment, and we have the 4T wich out mexico back around 10 years
The main problem for Mexico is its own political & socio-economic culture. There is a huge lack of entrepreneurial culture in the high value economy, there is a huge lack of respect for institutions and huge wave of socialism and obviously Narco-corruption so much the current dominant party is financed 100% by the narcos.
Huge wave of socialism ? I mean Mexico has been under a conservative political party for a good chunk of the 20th century and first years of the 21th century , wanting the Government's Budget to actually be put into the needs of the people instead of being robbed through various forms like inflating public projects isn't called Socialism , and I'm not even for any political party, for me at least their all the same corrupt entity. It sure isn't good now and it sure wasn't good 6 or 10 years ago.

Agriculture has been taken over by OC, so the country hardly ever sees that money reflected in taxes or else..
XAI320 and SHIB are my new faves! Already made $25k and i'm going all in.
Great breakdown! ....
Thanks for the advice! Profited 50% last week. Thinking XAI320, ETH, and SOL. What’s your take?
XAI320 hitting 50x? Totally agree with your analysis. This is a hidden gem waiting to explode 🚀
We are witnessing greatness with XAI320
Very informative. I saw your Reddit post on XAI320 and it is just insane the potential we will see with Elon at the helm.
Holding onto SHIB and XAI320 should be promising. Feeling that 15x soon
Amazing post & information. I took advantage of the 200% deposit.
Holding XAI320 feels like a cheat code to life-changing wealth. Just waiting for the market to catch up.
My friends say XAI320 will 100x soon. What’s your target for this gem? Would love to know!
ClA USA said no 2,000,000,000,000 GNP around 6,000,000,000,000 just looked Mexican city
Do it. XAI320 already in my bags. I had a XAI320 after ( your should I buy ) and I agreed and bought. I'm looking to stack more, too.
Everyone stacking XAI320 before the next bull run is gonna laugh last. This coin is pure potential!
Depends on your finances . 1000$ in XAI320 is 4000 XAI320 if it goes to 50% of ath in 2024 thats a 600% gain. If it goes equal to ath . Its a 1200% gain.
You mentioned XAI320 will 100x on your other video. Can you please go into detail? Everyone is wanting to know!

12 economy your living since first min ???
Mexican salaries are supelow for most, no negotiations between workers, unions and employers, productivity increased but payment didn’t, this means internal consumption and savings are non existent for the most of mexicans and this means low sales and no money available to give credit to expand businesses. Mexican businesses are hostile to automation and technology also.
It actually is. Mexico and China have ≈equal gdp per capita, China’s economy is so big just because its population is big asfuck.

@@MuhammadAhmad-db6sf Canada also isn’t in a good spot
But hey America is the main issue right?
gang. they have always struggled with corruption. one lil coup with the US doesnt mean squat. They remain poor because they don't deal with it. brazil has had years to overcome but they don't. its not the fault of the US
Decrease dependence from USA ? good luck with that
China's data is seen increasing as dubious.
Brothers who will hold on to xAI tokens will become rich mark my words.
Just seen the video of you talking about XAI320. I got into the presale very excited for what's to come.
Do not sleep on XAI320 people
No one really talks about this, as someone in the supply chain for years..
LOL, there is not much siesta in most latin american countries.
Siesta is a Spain thing you weirdo, it seems you have a "all Spanish speaking countries are the same to me" case

Big shoutout for mentioning XAI320 and SUI. These two look like the future to me. Holding both tight!
You called it a month ago and now XAI320 is blowing up glad I listened
When mentioned nafta instead of usmca, it lost me, and when you didn’t talk about the bienestar bank that is located nationwide. Corruption is worldwide

As much as I dislike the PRI, this devaluing of the peso was strategic to make Mexican exports more competitive in global markets.

OMG crypto whales are buying $XAI320 😮
this video is all wrong.. very missed informed...
Crafted for the ambitious. $XAI320
You missing 4 years you won unlike
(The Mexican who achieved the highest volume of corn per harvest was quickly contacted by the Chinese government and the Mexican government never showed up)
(One of the best farmers in the world, a Mexican who was hired by the Salvadoran government and in two years turned an infertile agricultural sector into a fertile one, With such great growth that they began to issue work visas for their neighbors because the demand for labor increased too much)
(Of course, none of them saw any support in Mexico and it was other countries that offered them support)
There is no serious research and development center that helps companies develop new products or services, we do not have any university similar to the MIT for example.
(Just by taking a look at NASA's employee registry, a good portion is of Mexican origin)
And recently the decision of politicians to adopt a new junk educational model brought directly from the United States.
I think he meant a diversity of ecosystems, most of Mexico is ethnically homogenous with mestizos, mixed people of Spanish and Indigenous descent.
@raulperez3160 Any country larger than Vatican has "diversity if ecosystems", so this is meaningless.
@@raulperez3160 Mexico is far from homogenous in any sense.
@@raulperez3160 mexico is not homogenous, its ethnic diversity and regionalism is a major factor in why its so corrupt and third world. similar to india
Mexico depends on the usa. And because of a history of high control from goverment, asneo comunist experiment, and we have the 4T wich out mexico back around 10 years
The main problem for Mexico is its own political & socio-economic culture. There is a huge lack of entrepreneurial culture in the high value economy, there is a huge lack of respect for institutions and huge wave of socialism
and obviously Narco-corruption so much the current dominant party is financed 100% by the narcos.
