STELLA AND MABEL MEET FRED THE AFGHAN!

Last week was one for the BOOKS. Stella and Mabel got to spend an afternoon with a celebridog - Fred The Afghan and his super cool human, US Marine Sergeant ‪@FredTheAfghan22‬. If you don’t follow their adventures or know their story, dude... check them out.
Craig and Fred’s unexpected friendship began on the battlefield in Afghanistan when Fred was a stray and Craig was working for Marine RECON. Without spoiling too much let’s just say Craig actually smuggled Fred back to the US under... interesting circumstances. Their story is incredible and they’ve helped each other in countless ways. Now they live in the Land of Stella! (You may know it as Maine).
Their relationship is beyond inspirational and Craig’s books will blow your mind - his first book is called “Craig and Fred” and his NEW book is called “Second Chances” (see Fred enthusiastically encouraging you to buy it in the last shot).
There will LABsolutely be a video with a production value matched only by Avatar 2, but first check out these minimally edited clips (sorry about the wind) from the happenings. Fred is what I refer to as a spare parts dog. They are dogs whose legs look too short for their bodies or heads or too big etc. I'm not saying Fred's head is too big I'm just saying he looks like the bottom half of him might be a basset hound and the top half something else 🤣🤣🤣. He's absolutely adorable! And I love how he was showing off his legs to Stella and Mabel. Showing how fast he could run with them little legs of his. Those are my favorite kind of dogs, the spare parts dog
