I love that in the time you had in this video, you truly made an effort to find books for a variety of mental illnesses.
Depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, schizophrenia, and suicidal tendencies are all seen here.

As a severely OCD individual, I love Turtles All The Way Down, But I cannot reread it.
It is too real. Too close to home.
Even the cover represents the wiring of the OCD mind, and what a spiral is like.

"A Danger to Herself and Others" by Jennifer Lynn Barnes is excellent, very deep and haunting. It deals with schizophrenia.

Some really great books here. I don’t think I’ve read many books with mental health rep so you’ve given me a place to get started. Thanks!

What a beautifully presented collection of recommendations. I love, too, how you are careful to add words of caution for potential triggers! Your delivery is wonderfully energetic, articulate and very well organized. Thank you, and I look forward to more of your recommendations! :-)

I've had a really rough month so I couldnt read any mental health books this month (fantasy to distract me from the real world) 😞 I'm really loving the new representation I've been seeing lately though. A Danger to Herself and Others was one I did read last month, and it took me for a spin and really made me think about schizophrenia in a way I haven't.
