I actually think that the eluvains were incredibly necessary for solas's plan. Because the eluvians may have been able to create safe harbor for anyone who enter then for the chaos he was release on to thedas
I think Solas is just a smart guy who probably made a plan B in case the orb didn't work for whatever reason. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a plan C and D in place as well that we have seen hints of without even realizing it.
Plan C is the Blight he doesn't want the Wardens to defeat all the Archdemons. Plan D is Red Lyrium or the Qunari. Whatever the plans are he needs them to genocide all of Humanity, Dwarvenkind and Qunari. A Blight that succeeds or a War between the Qun and Thedas does just that. The latter wouldn't kill everyone but it would weaken everyone to the point once he gets rid of the Veil everyone would die because of how weak the peoples/nations would be.
Perhaps the eluvians have to do with his plan to deal with the evanuris rather than his plan to take down the veil? Hence why he would want them even before he lost the orb.
Alright, now that I watched it and loved it, there's my take about Felassan's possible survival and Eluvians. Following what we see in DA2 with Feynriel, Felassan could be alive but as a tranquil, I know Cole in trespasser tell us Felassan is dead and all but here my point : - Cole is a spirit and as a good spirit he "reflect" the "world" through the eyes of peoples, Cole wasn't here when Solas "killed" Felassan and so have seen Felassan's death through Solas's eyes, he reflects what Solas think, so if Solas think Felassan is dead Cole will think he's dead too, but the very truth could be different, he could be a tranquil all alone lost we don't know where in Thedas... But this theory mean Solas didn't know about tranquility and when we see how much knowledge he possess... eeeeeeeeh... he's probably dead but there's still hope, I guess ? Maybe...? -sigh- a girl can dream, anyway, I've found no one that thinked of this outcome so... I haved to share it xD Now, about the Eluvians : - I feel like getting back Eluvians is ESSENTIAL for Solas's plan this give so much power, I'll take a random scenario to illustrate it. There that that can do , and oh no ! Qunari and Tevinter want to take it !!! Okay, we need to go here first, what can we do ? BOOM gonna take the nearest Eluvian, fight Qun and Tevinter, take the and run away with it, once the agent have used the eluvian, GOOD LUCK MAH BOI TO KNOW WHERE IT IS AND TRACK IT because Qun and Tevinter would need to know the new password to use the eluvian but...they don't have it, Qun and Tevinter have been Fen'hareled right in their faces. - Also if I don't make mistake it was Mythal's creations, and if I follow one of my theories Eluvians could have been made of the souls of the peoples that willingly gave it back in Arlathan time to help to save others slaves etc ? We know Flemeth/Mythal at the end of Inquisition use a soul to an Eluvian, we also have Bianca who say us the blight can corrupt all that is ALIVE and the eluvian from DAO warden dalish's origin is corrupted since in DA2 Merrill clean it with blood magic, how could it be cleaned from the blight is it was just a non alive item. sooooooooooooo... - Others point that came to my mind while writing the previous one : Merrill's eluvian in dao was corrupted by the blight perhaps because it lead to somewhere underground in the deeproads full of darkspawns etc... SO WHAT IF, some eluvians lead to Archdemon's places to unlock the gates of the black city where Evanuris are probably trapped ?...shit. I'm probably on something right now.
I absolutely love Felassan, I really do love his character. I've only read the Masked Empire once and that was years ago, I really should re-read it. Also, I hope that somehow he can appear in Dragon Age "4" as a Tranquil or whatever. It would be so cool to see him as a companion and I think it would he interesting to romance him, especially if he's tranquil. I keep wondering - what do you think Dragon Age "4" will be called? Because I think The Dread Wolf Rises is a bit long for a Dragon Age title.
@@w3ndigogames Seems to big of a loose end to be left out. I know tranquil do not keep their whole memories, but even the smallest things remembered could expose the Wolf's plan. If the Vidasala discovered his involvement, imagine what would happen if any other power in Thedas found this guy?
@@bigbangrafa8435 I guess you're right. Solas, In a realistic sense, would never have let Felassan live, even as a Tranquil, so it is most likely that he is dead. I suppose I just want a Tranquil companion in DA4
@@bigbangrafa8435 Plus given Solas knows everything about Spirits he knows it just takes one single Spirit to be merciful to Felassan restore his personality and ruin Solas plans. Solas would also know for a fact the Seekers of Truth know about this and would certainly use this tactic against him.
I've just had a little theory which I really want to happen(but it won't) what if our next protagonist is a part of the Wolf Pack? That would be friggin awesome.
Felassan is an interesting character in my opinion. As for a video idea, can you talk about the Arcane Warrior ability from the entity only known as the "Presence - you get the sense of an elven mage in glittering silver armor"? It's something not talked about much and ever since coming across that ability in the Brecilian Ruins before meeting the Lady of the Forest/Witherfang, it's piqued my interest. I think you should talk about it.
@@TheKingdomEntertainment Yeah, if he needed a body and the Eluvians were only a secondary objective...then he might have always planned to take the body, and the betrayal just meant he wouldn't keep Felassan's soul in the fade.
I don't think Briala was under Felassan's tutelage for 20 years. I always had the impression Celene and B were together as a couple for almost 20 years. And knowing F's standoffish style, it is possible he dropped in and out of B's life rather than have her tag along. B after all has a wealth of knowledge and experience in The Game, and she didn't get that following F around in the woods. Just an observation. She is such a great character and I wish she had a role in Trespasser bc it is a rude joke that Solas just took her access to the mirrors.
She was under his tutelage for a while, then went back to Celene, THEN most of those twenty years passed. During which F dropped in and out of her life. You are correct. And I agree, she definitely should have been in Trespasser.
Not really important at this point but do we actually KNOW how did Solas took back the eluvians from Briala? Because from what I remember in Trespasser he just mention that briefly without any explanation whatsoever
@@TheKingdomEntertainment I think that the reason Solas wanted the Eluvians can be summarized with the following saying: "It is better to have it and not need it, than it is to need it and not have it."
@@TheKingdomEntertainment huh okay, sooo I guess he just did that with the power he stole from Mythal at the end of Inquisition... Still seems a bit too easy but he's a god after all =)
So I have been thinking on your video while at work because I have nothing better to do, I came across this thought. More than likely for the whole wolf pack, there isnt an overall mission. Think about it, who in their right mind would go with solas plan knowing full well it will kill them and everything they know? And still be sane enough to be a good spy and agent without any one catching wind? Probably no one. But my best guess on what happened is the wolf pack was either a secret society or cult that solas influenced while he was asleep. He may have told an agent, "hey go spy on them" or "hey go take that" and they obeyed because it is their deity fen herel, he is always up to shanniaigans. I'm sure he has a larger plan but eh I will do what he says. Now solas probably has a plan that will help with his goal, but from the agents that the audience has met, I doubt that any one of them know about each others actions, their missions, or what the over all goal is. Pardon the pun, but solas is probably having his agents act as lone wolves to make it much harder for people to interfere with his plans.
I think the vast majority of the Wolf Pack is comprised of ancient elves like from the temple of Mythal. So his agents don't care about this world being destroyed.ike Solas, they want their world back.
@@TheKingdomEntertainment that would make sense, but my only issue with that is we just found out about solas even having a spy net work in trespasser and any other media since has only revealed 2 or 3 other spies in the wolf pack? And as far as we know it hasn't been confirmed or not if they were ancient elves.
So I tried to find you on twitter to no avail. So I'm posting this on some of your DA videos in the hope that you see it. One person brings up GE Fiona, the artificial nature of the Qunari, and the First Blight. The other person brings up Blight Magic, Lyrium, and Darkspawn behavior! It's all really fascinating and has my mind abuzz about possible Blood Magic/Grey Warden lore! Again, sorry if this is an intrusive or impolite way to bring this to your attention. I read the thread and immediately thought "This guy has to read this, too!" and couldn't find you on Twitter.
