Removed pixel in Norway too, one of the main reasons for me to get it. They have a €1000 discount for the lite version with normal LEDs... And they're out of the normal SR now too. So they offer a slightly larger battery with abt 30kms of added range, but charge €1600 more. So now, SR with Pilot lite is €3600. I've been checking the site daily to see if any preconfigured ones got listed. Today a SR (normal "old" range) with the Pilot pack w/pixel got in. €3000 Euros extra. The 30 kms i can do without. Saved €600 and I get the Pixel. Ordered for late march delivery!

I've canceled my order, headlights were one of the main reasons for buying the car as it was an option. That with the delivery date being pushed ever, the TCAM issues and reported poor range was just the final straw.
Thats a shame Bob, it really is a great car, but appreciate peoples frustrations. In my experience TCAM issues were resolved a while ago, and the range is pretty good, but we all have different needs. May I ask what you will get instead?

Couple of reasons , 4 dogs and I really want to tow my caravan and not struggle to charge and the supercharger network just covers that. I plan to do a 4 week EU trip in august and I would have loved to do it in the ps2 but your great video on towing just scared me into thinking charging every 100 miles is bad enough here but to have to plan that in Europe would be a strategic. So with regret the Ps2 is gone , model y ordered and a Zoe for the Mrs. I’ll keep watching your Ps2 stuff as it’s interesting and who knows, not be the first time we’ve been a 3 car family lol.
@@bobtetstall2681 Make sense, the Y has an extra 100kg tow capacity over the PS2 at 1,600kg so should be good. Best of luck with the Y. I actually have a camping trip coming up where I will have to do a charging stop, first one with the wife, dog and kids with me ... what could possibly go wrong :)
@@bobtetstall2681 let us know how this Y rattles after year 1. They are poorly made "cars". Here in Canada, the used car dealers are flooded with Teslas.
I've spoken to Polestar, it will affect any car that goes into build w/c 21st March, whether on order or not. They will be contacting all affected customers individually w/c 14th March, and offering compensation or potentially other options (such as removal of the pack).

I have to say, this has pissed me right off! My order eventually went through on the 23rd February. Later then intended as there was a problem making the order via the polestar website. This is the first I have heard of this. And this is my first experience with polestar. Not a great start. This feature is one of the main reasons I paid for the pack! To say I feel scammed is an understatement. 🤨
Know the feeling ....but trust me ...Doing business with Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been a nightmare experience also...gave up on them after 5mths of lies and deceit for my order placed on 29th September ..regarding delivery dates... from there Customer services.
Pilot lite here in the uk now for £850 less. Booked test drive and between then and having the test drive all orders are stopped. Knowing my luck they will come back online with jacked up pricing or worse. If it still works for me I will be ordering. Only negative I could find was it was a bit too firm but I test drove 20 inch wheels so smaller may improve things. Not a deal breaker.
I ordered my PS2 on the 7th of July 2022 and received it 5 days ago - no Matrix. It was advertised on their homepage when I bought the car- even on the 15th of November 2022 they advertise these headlights.
A pilot lite package is now available in Denmark. It’s of course without Pixel LED and 1000€ in price reduction. But how important is to have the Pixel LED if you live in city area where there are street lights everywhere?

I just read the orders had been put on hold, fingers crossed there is no massive price hike or other feature reductions like you say.

Its 100% a nice to have vs a NEED. Just a shame it was poorly communicated. Good news on the reduced Pilot Lite package though.

100% would buy again, I am very happy with the car.
I wonder how Volvo will handle this one too. Whilst not part of a "pack' they come in the Ultimate spec.

I hate Pixel LED Matrix. People keeps blinking at you because they think you have forgotten to switch off the high beam.
I get that very occasionally, but in general the pixels are amazing imho
