She creates a very unexpected shift in dynamics just before those powerful chords drop to give them more impact by releasing the sustain pedal and playing "staccato". I know quite a bit of songs on piano, but this one's giving me a hard time because my monkey brain can't differentiate left hands and right hands that aren't rhythmically aligned. Its like your own song on the left hand and your right hand is doing a completely other thing and they're not really to the same beat necessarily, or at least not a way that my dumb brain can understand
exactly what i was thinking and i don't even play piano. i was trying to tap each of my hands to the melody of the background music and the main keys. my feeble mind couldn't tap the melody of 2 songs with different hands. i got massively numbed and my respect for this pianist and all other has greatly skyrocketed

Im a pianist/live performing artist myself, played minecraft since i was kid, in a way grew up listening to these songs and here i am today feeling nostalgic. I tried putting myself in this C418 guy's mind when he was composing this piece, i tried understanding what was in his mind and stuff. Nah this piece is insane. I realize certain elements people dont usually care about but do matter. Just look at the build up of this song. Look at how he variates at particular sections. Its a masterpiece. The climax (the peak of the song i mean) is everything. Look at how this C418 guy teases the main part of the song from the beginning itself. People would have already roughly knew about how the whole song would sound like from the start. He builds from there. This is by far the most perfect song i have ever listened to my whole life. I wish i can be free to play minecraft soon. Miss making friends in servers and stuff. Ive been noticing lots of new stuff every year. Cant wait to check them out!

I'm in love with like the entire Minecraft OST, and Aria Math is up there with one of my all-time favourites. He's always had really unique sounding music, and I think his music for Minecraft is a big part of why that game is so nostalgic for so many people

The only thing we did, is make a sort of balcony at the lowest floor, and fish all day. We’d be happy when we caught something rare, even though we made the thing in creative. When we had lily pads, we would place them down of course. Damn the old days…
I love this music. Rember the best moments in my life at 2017 and 2019. The moments did we played with your friends, and, meet new people and build a every places. The our imagination was a bigger explosion of creativity.
