Picking up a non dominant language in a country is very circumstantial and not everyone acquires the circumstance that enables them to pick up their parents’ native language. Sometimes people aren’t behaving sis. They really just never had the opportunity to learn Bangla

Please to the young sylhetis watching this. Be proud to be Sylheti and if some non sylheti weirdos tell you that this isnt bangla, Dont be mad say, we’re happy it’s sylheti. Those non sylhetis themselves dont speak bangla they have their own dialects too but they somehow feel sylheti dialect is alien and theirs is part of bangla. The dakaiyas have their own dialect which is dhakaiya, but again they think there’s is ‘suddh bangla’ and sylheti dialect isnt.
Officially bangla has a lot ‘Sh’ sounds. Korechi, korecho, Peyechi, Cheyechi. Whereas the Dhakaiyas talk like Korci? paisi, Asteseh instead of Ashtechi. Fact is daily life in BD each regions not many speak Suddho bangla , unless its for school, officially reasons, and tv news channels but on a daily communications they speak in their own tone and dialect!
