Your place is a TEMPLE! A real sacred place... I wish you all the best things in life! May God allow you to enjoy every single bit of pleasure your hard work and dedication have brought to you through the years. My deepest respect and admiration! I'm a KAWASAKI guy but, I know SUZUKI is a great brand. I see you also have a soft spot for YAMAHA and even KAWASAKI... I saw the KR 250! Greetings from Brazil, my brother MOTORCYCLIST!

It was a styling and marketing exercise. The first of the triples was released in 1971, that was the 750, and it was Suzuki's answer to the game changing CB750, so it had to compete on every level, including perceived technical innovation which, in this case, meant a four cylinder engine. As great as two strokes are they naturally have drawbacks as well, one of those is width, two stroke cylinders include transfer ports making them quite wide, combine that with the standard layout of the time which meant an alternator on one end of the crank and ignition points on the other end and the engine becomes so wide that a fourth cylinder is completely impractical, but four exhausts makes the bike visually compatible with the Honda. That's the marketing aspect. As for styling, it's simply that with four pipes the bike was symmetrical when viewed from either side or the back.
I hadhe pregevelege to drive GT 750 back in 70s ,I alsotryed GT X7 250, GS 400, GS 750, etc. never have the placer of GT550, for some reason I beleve GT550 kick as to all of the GTs....long gear box. Some know? WHo is faster ? GT 750 or 550..
750 is faster in all settings except on country roads with lots of bends. On larger roads, just no context. 750 around 70bhp, 550 around 50. Weight 550 is 25kg lighter but 750 superior power makes itself felt.
Why ,i the room not filled with 2 ,stroke smoke ,with ,all them bikes ,on tickover and get reved? The 2 stroke oil pump ,can,t be set right ,as they must be running to lean,mr c dale ,redcar ,england.

The 550 sounds awesome
I always wanted to know what 9 two-stroke cylinders sounded like! Nicely done!
I love such music. I have a GT380 with chambers. I love it!
Incredible collection.....Fantastic.
No wonder it’s hard to find a decent GT these days... they’re all in your garage!
not anymore.
I do like the old expansion pipes, they sound awesome. But then the GT’s always sounded great.
