  • Brothers moved into outright fourth spot on the BRL ladder after producing a memorable comeback from 18-points down to beat the much-fancied Redcliffe Dolphins. What made this win even more special was the fact Brothers forward Glen Haggath was given his marching orders in the opening minute of play, leaving the Brethren to fend with only 12 men.

    Redcliffe had an almost non-existant winning % whenever Eddie Ward officiated their matches. Redcliffe often won penalty counts, but very low % were within kicking range. Most bias referee have ever seen.
