How did caring for our seniors become a business model?

The same way health care became an industry? It’s all wrong but it’s hardly a new concept

I mean, everything is if you choose to look at it this way… and this isn’t about making money anyway it’s about connecting them…

... When young people or families refused to take care of their elders due to illness, family separation, old age, and a number of other things. Caring for people, as in hospitality, is Business Model 101.

There are no old people's homes where I come from. Every family takes care of their loved ones until they pass away, so the children automatically learn to live with and look after multiple generations of family members.

In Latinamerica we have nursimg homes but usually.the family keeps.them. I had my father home, until he died. He enjoyed having his grandson with him.
