I have a 70 Chevelle Sport Coupe , buckets , Hurst shifter with a 427 corvette motor badged as a 350. All original except the rear end , with 4.11 gears. Original dash , but going with the dakota sweeper dash and keep the original look to the car. Thanks for some ideas and keep it between the ditches.. 👍
Thank Jesus it’s not another SS Clone!! Awesome you have the original build sheet. My first 70 Malibu was a 307 column auto with a bench seat!!! Thank You for keeping it original with the chrome wheel arches and keeping that derby cap and trim ring look. Great Video Thank You 🙏
What brand did he say the ls dress up kit was? My car is a 69 Camaro and it looks very similar, black, with dogs. Putting an ls in, and want to keep it looking old.
That car is badass... only thing I'd do is tint windows and add stereo.. the more I look at the wheels the better they look. Just a simple badass car that is driveable with ac
I had a 72 Chevelle and love the 70 and 71 Chevelles. Often, I wish I still had mine. This 70 is exactly what I wanted mine to be! Great video, Austin!
I just wonna know who actually thinks a Chevelle Malibu could be sleeper like literally every single one you see will be built for power there isn't a sleeper version of this car in existence today
The motor looks like a 250 hp 307, its sound level is like a 307 single exhaust . It appears as a Malibu with stock suspension. Anyone with a new sports car would race him , and be surprised . So there is the sleep part. It’s actually derivative of a nascar.
I'm with you on that!😮, it's a law that they are to be built with more power!,oh, Oh OH!!😅, oops sorry I went all Tim Taylor on you for a second there, so they gotta be packing serious ponies under the hood!❤❤
My first car was 1970 Chevy Nova with 307 for 100 bucks, the motor ran but smoked , needed interior, but no rust or dents, blue with white vinyl top, I can’t believe I was embarrassed to drive it in 1986, that car today just as it was would sell for at least 5k just for the non rust no dent body! I sold it for 200 bucks! It was considered a jalopy in 1986 lol!
@@HotRodHeavenUSA I did watch the whole thing. It ranks right up there with the crying dolls and stuffed animals people have at car shows! Totally takes away from the aesthetics of the car.
I was driving a 1982 280zx in 1990, I didn't want to drive it in the winter that year, so I bought a 1970 Chevelle for $200 as a winter car. 307ci motor with a 3 speed auto, no rust, about 80,000 miles. It was the worst winter car ever, I got stuck in the snow about 12 times. A few years later I put an LT1 350 in it, a built 1963 Trans, big block spring in the front, dual exhaust, basically rebuilt the car. I drove that car everywhere... and never turned the radio on. The sound of the Rochester 4 barrel opening up was music to my ears.
@@HotRodHeavenUSA lol no it not , a sleeper would be anything other then a muscle car , chevelle being an iconic muscle car how in the fck do you think it could be a sleeper , might be a good idea for you to goggle what a sleeper is
Ron completely knocked it out of the park with this masterpiece. I have a weakness for the early 1970’s Malibus since I owned one myself.
Very nice car and well done. I like stock appearing old cars that are not turned into pro touring cars with crazy body work and interiors.

Man that thing looks like it rides smooth. Love the poverty caps.
Best resto mod yet. less is more
Perfectly done!
Sweet build. Love the original look under the hood. I’d like to do the same on a 78-81 camaro with gm corporate blue
It's gorgeous! Very well done
Big 👍🏻 for not fake SS badging it!!!! Awesome ride!
KIller build!!! I'm doing something similar with the same parts. Where did you mount the ignition coils?
I didn't connect w/ my Mercury Villager at all. This car is sweet! Love the stance and look.
On a car, black is not a color..., it's a part-time job!

He has a stereo in it! It’s all hidden and Bluetooth 🤘
Great car, thanks for the video!
This thing needs a BB in it.
Awesome video! The Chevelle is perfect!
Is that Elvira in the back seat? 😜
With out a doubt one of the most perfect builds ever! That is how you do a driver. Thanks for sharing!

It would look even meaner with a mini tub and 12 rear wheels like those !
What is the exhaust on that car
Information is in the video
Absolutely badasss👌👍
Great vid…and car.😎

Every Chevelle isn't built to race or have big power

Badass!
Those steel appearing wheels WITHOUT rubber or caps are $7400 - yikes.
Looks more like the heavy Chevy model now , very cool!
That was my first car 70 Chevelle 307 got in 82 for 900 bucks. Silver w vinyl roof. Long gone. Love the working man’s resto-mod!

Doesn’t get better than an LS 70 Chevelle…
Yes it does! A 632 1970 SS chevelle 😜
I love how it sounds like a bone stock muscle car.
Very cool car but I will never understand the stupid skeleton/car show props.
He explained it in the video, maybe watch the whole thing
