I love your tutorial! I really want to make it with more of a boat neck, can you explain how to do it? Should I just make the neck hole the size of the row two and then continue to row three onwards?
Hii💞 yes you can definitely do that! If you want a larger neckline you can also consider this pattern ruclips.net/video/LoFVyuQ4lQU/видео.htmlsi=HHNd4glRk9dK8aF8
Hey! This design is everything that I'm looking for! I'm just wondering, can I use a smaller size hook because I want the stitches to be more solid and not so gappy or will it affect the pattern and how it comes out? Thank you so much
@@kemim3217 hii♥️ yes you can! Although you may need an up size. You can fit-check after row 3, put the yoke over your head, it should fit through your head comfortably (not too big not to small)
Can we get some measurements on how wide the top is supposed to be after row 17, and how long it should be as well? I’m using mohair, and the recommended hooks from the video, but my top looks really big and I’m only on row 14. The neck hole is huge lol.
Hii❤, I would give you the measurements if I can however different types of yarn has different degrees of elasticity so the measurements varies. The neckline supposed to fits over your head, just big enough for you to pull it through the head easily and comfortably. If any larger than that you should definitely go for a down size or down size your hook&yarn May I ask which hook and yarn you're using?
hi 🤍 With thicker yarn you may need a down size. You can fit-check after row 3, put the yoke over your head, it should fit through your head comfortably (not too big not to small).
I want a circular yoke top so bad.. I just can’t do the super skinny yarn. 😞 Do you think a 5.25 and regular yarn would work up similarly or should I start with smaller increases? I’ve been trying and frogging since yesterday.
@@geeLjayy hii ♥️ you can do thicker yarn with the 4 or 4.5mm hook! And go for a down size. You can check after row 3, put the yoke over your head, it should fit through your head comfortably (not too big not to small)
@@ABoCStudiogood morning! 💕 Ah yes, thank you soo much. I’ll give that a try! I’m not a freestyle girlie just yet no matter how hard I try loll. I’m an L and was already too big by the third increase. 😂 Gonna try again!
Hii❤ Technically there is no different in the written pattern of row 5 and row 6. Although, it’s slightly different in the marked sts, that’s because row 5 is worked on row 4 which has only 1 increased st at each marked spot. while row 6 is made on row 5 which has 2 increased sts in each marked spot. Either way we still make 2Dc in the st before and the st after the marker ☺️
So, since I'm making a XXL, does that mean that I can keep repeating row 6 til the 17th row, and then from 17 to 22 I go back to doing row five with only one set of increases before the marker?

Looking forward to making this! What type of yarn material is recommended?
@@angiechu8128 hii💞 I definitely recommend merino wool, and mohair if you're already familiar with crochet cus it's a bit harder to handle 🧶

@ABoCStudio I'm using double stranded lace weight mohair from hobbi and a 4.5mm hook

If I did a different stitch would it matter?
It depends on the stitch but most yes, it would effect the sizing of the pattern^^
