as f2p, imma pull zhu yuan, i'll not worry about power creep in 1.0.. i want to comfortably clear shiyu for more saving i'll make sure to save my polys for miyabi, because she's the reason i play this game lol

I kinda need Zhu Yuan for ether weakness enemies. As for Qingyi, if I don't get Lyacon until then, I'll probably get her. I have Anby ready so I'll just tranfer her equipement to her
I think you hit the nail on the head, the timing of Qingyi's banner being right after two DPS characters at launch is no coincidence. I reckon a lot of people who already pulled for Ellen and/or Zhu Yuan will be caught off-guard (especially those that are currently content with Anby) and it will become the first banner that forces a lot of people to start opening up their wallets.
I agree with the first part but not necessarily the 2nd. Zhu having a pairing activation with supports and Jane Doe having one with other anomalies means they can have potential spots on many future teams Even if there's not a section 6 patch (which I think it might be squad 6 into sons of calydon) they still can be broken with future releases.
Very easy for me. I don't like the cops aesthetic and I got Koleda, Ellen and Lycaon as my first 3 S ranks within 120 pulls. I'll just run Koleda, Lucy and Piper as my 2nd team and Ellen (no S Rank weapon but spending isn't worth it imo), Lycaon and Soukaku as my first until characters appear that appeal to me. I also agree with the powercreep speculation, which pretty much locks me into not spending any polys probably for a couple months. Best video I've seen on this though. 👍
Honestly I’m tempted to save for either Jane doe or Caesar. I have Ellen and zhu yuan but I lost on Ellen’s weapon. And I don’t have a good Ellen team. So I’m tempted to start working on a physical team until I can pull lycaon
Got 90 limited summons saved up currently with most content done besides some really out of the way achievements and stuff, hope 1.1 will get me close to hard pity before Qingli banner ends
I'll probably skip zhuyuan since i already got ellen and her weapon and i have her with lycaon and m6 soukaku. Going for qingyi might be the best option for me considering the fact that i also have m1 grace + weapon , m6 anton and rina.
Hmmm 🤔 I got lucky pulling Lycaon in my first S rank guaranteed, and his signature W Engine, plus Ellen. so My mono ice team is complete. I'm still waiting if I can pull another S rank for my second team before getting Zhu or skip it.
Hey man, I love the content, I watched like 10 videos already. I wanted to ask, if I pull now for Zhu Yuan is it possible to farm enough pulls for the Jane Doe banner as well if I skip Qingyi ? I have 62 pulls and just bought the inter knot pass (hopefully I get Zhu Yuan, I know I don't have a lot of pulls but I got Ellen). I'm f2p.
As a battlepass only player, im fine with my Ellen and skipping both Zhu Yuan and Qingyi. We can only team 6 characters unlike Genshins 8, so those characters have to really bring something unique to earn those slots. These two are cool but not really a must have imo.
Zhu Yuan has me concerned that I heard a lot of mediocre reviews of her compared to Ellen. I'm concerned she's a good pull now only because she's the 2nd limited DPS for ppls 2nd team I'll wait and see how she actually performs before I pull her
Also Zhu Yuan is only Ether atacker. So she will be great for faster Shiyu clears with Ether weakness. And I heard there will be new enemy type in the future called "energy" which gets 30% more damage from ether
I didn't get lycaon, so I just gave up on ellen. I also hate the fact that zhu yuan starts off her na combo with a kick instead of exclusively using her gun, which is why I'm going to skip on her as well. Already lost 50 50 to c1 grace, so I'm currently stuck on using a crippled team for quite a while.
With resists and weaknesses I could see building 3 attackers. I like Zhu but Grace is my only standard S so far and I think saving 160 pulls for Jane might be the play. Kind of holding out hope for an ether anomaly 1 day.
I wonder how they will implement the faction and element system? Will the add more members to Cunning Hares or Belobog. Or will they stick with what they are doing with PubSec needing only another class. This would be a fine line between creating good team synergies and actually limting our choices.
This is my first hoyo game and second gacha after DFFOO. What is the event roadmap typically like for these hoyo games? With the exception of the hardest content did everything I can do at this point as f2p, with one new character a month the rollout for new content seems slow.
Usually patches are 42 day rotations, each banner starts with a 21 day period, new content comes with new patch there are also big patches and 2.0 update, that comes after few month

But I'm unsure if I should pull Zhu Yuan, I want her so much but I'm afraid I wont have enough resources to pull Jane Doe and then level up all 3 agents (seth+jane+grace/rina)
If I have only one stun character and its Lycaon, would it be a good idea to pull Qingyi as a second stun character? I have monoelectro team with Grace, Anby, Anton. I think Qingyi might be a good replace character instead of Anby

Hello Mattjestic MultiGaming, I did 80 pulls on Ellen's banner and lost the 50/50, I want her very very bad, but I do not want to spend money, should I wait for Zhu Yuan's banner for the next garante, or should I still push for Ellen? (I think I can do 2 more mulits before ellen leaves, the S rank characters I have are Grace and Rina.)
If you have grace and Rina i would just save for Jane doe. you already have two of the supports (5*) she wants and it will be a really powerful team. you should pulls based on synergy more. Also her banners cracked too.

Ellen will get powercreeped as soon as Miyabi banner comes , I really want Miyabi but I got Ellen, her BIS weapon, Lycaon S1,Shoukaku and her BIS weapon maxed, I wonder if I should play different account or no , Coz as soon as Miyabi drops I'm gonna main her and Ellen will be benched (Considering Miyabi will be ice DPS).
If I don’t have Ellen, can I skip Zhu Yuan and go for Jane Doe? Or is it necessary for me to get Zhu Yuan or else I won’t be able to progress in game? Honestly you'll be able to complete most content with the free roaster (maybe aside from the later stages of , and even then it can be achieved with well-built A-ranks) . Keep your pulls for who you want, all hail the mouse waifu 👍
Right now the team I'm using is Koleda, Anton, and Ben (might swap him to Grace when I get her), and it is working great so far, completely f2p, but Koleda sets up stuns really well and Anton with the right crit build absolutely shreds. And honestly, earlier in the game when I was using the Cunning Hares team, they were really good too. I think there are a lot of usable f2p team comps, I heard Piper in a fire based team can work wonders as well. Find a team you like and make it synergize so you get all the full passive bonuses, and so long as you gear them correctly they'll take you through most of the game.
Any content you might struggle with is optional anyway, save your pulls and wish for who you want. Jane will help you clear that scary content with her 10 million beyblade attacks and big Assault hits!
Ive seen that your progress towards guaranteed S rank pull stays from this current limited banner to the next. Any official word on this? Because im 20 pulls away and im saving it because I've heard that it carries over..any word on this by chance??
If you are new to hoyo games, yes they do. They do carry on with hard pity to. Lets say you lost your 50/50 on the banner, and you pulled another 64. This 64 will carry on along with your 100% guarantee to the next banner. Your next 30-ish pulls will be the rate up character
Just started three days ago, up to Shiyu 7 and need two teams, at the moment I only have one team built. What's the best way to split the promotion, skill and other resources in to two teams? I understand that attackers are priority. An efficient resource priority guide I suppose.
I pulled Ellen and will pull Zhu Yuan (but not her weapon) well knowing that both of them will be powercrept in half a year. The alternative is investing into 4-star or standard 5-star attackers which I see as as an utter waste of resources. In pretty much all gacha games I have ever played the 4-star and standard 5-star attackers died off in the first few months and became C-tier. Hell, look at the current tier lists. They already *are* in the bottom half. Especially starting at character level 40 the upgrade costs become substantial so I'd rather invest into long-term characters rather than those you get as a 'loss' when pulling on limited banners. Qingyi: Since I've got Lycaon I will skip her and use Soukaku as a pseudo-stunner in my second team.
It appears that qingyi would be the Best option meta wise but I dont really like the design. She literally is worse version of anby. I got ellen cuz i love the design and gameplay. In xu juan i like design but her gameplay is meh for me so I dont know if should pull for her or not considering i had terrible luck with ellen banner and now i have like 5 pulls saved Up. Also all of my 5 stars are attackers and now I wish that instead of enjoying the game i rerolled more (rerolled 10 Times with 0 5 stars😢)
@@markhui At the end of the day the best characters to pull for are the ones you like, both gameplay and design wise. I personally really like Qingyi which is why I'll be pulling for her but I can understand why some others might not.
I must say i pretty impress of your hard works into making these charts. After seeing your chart about hidden mechanic of pulling, my plan for progression is so much better. Since my past experiences when playing HSR and 2 weeks in ZZZ, I usually can only get S rank on 80th pull (yes, my luck is not good), so now I will only pull when I got 160 pull saving (I'm not a f2p, but only spend to get monthly pass and maybe the BP in the future if the reward is good though) I am going to pull Zhu Yuan, and if the first shiny one is not Zhu Yuan, anyone in the standard banner would be fine as I already have team plan for each one of them, or even a copy for C1 Grace or C1 Koleda is pretty good as I can get closer to their C2, which is superb. And I still have enough to pull for guarantee Zhu Yuan. Even A rank agents are good as Ben and Nicole can fit really well on my 2 teams with Koleda and Zhu Yuan. Of course the weapon is nice, but since how the atk buff in this game work, Starlight Engine can pretty good for an alternative. I think it will feel so much frustrated if I pull 90 times and it is not someone I intentionally aim for. Oh, one small question, how many pulls do you think we could save for each patch if we skip those limited characters? (Each patch is roughly last for about 6 weeks I guess)

@@velkarious Its up to you for general content, but for Shiyu. I think u should use Anby instead of Nicole, stunner is valuable in that kind of content. I have the same problem as you so i hope we can get Lycaon😂

Honestly, Zhu Yuan and Jane Doe are the safe bet for future proofing. Especially when you consider 1.2 or 1.3 will likely be the Section 6 patch.

Uh you get to use her in the story and a non-optimum Zhu Yuan is crazy good.

Currently Ellen, have the best support in the game, and the best stunner so.
Ellen is a great choice.
Why does no one think zhu yuan and qingyi will be optimal together it doesn't make sense
1. Different Elements
2. We have no idea what Qingyi does yet beyond basic info
3. They changed Zhu Yuan's passive to work with Nicole as well.

Anby's abilities are ridiculously good so it will depend on exactly what Qingyi offers.

I did 80 pulls on Ellen's banner and lost the 50/50, I want her very very bad, but I do not want to spend money, should I wait for Zhu Yuan's banner for the next garante, or should I still push for Ellen? (I think I can do 2 more mulits before ellen leaves, the S rank characters I have are Grace and Rina.)
Um if you really wanted Ellen I would say you can still try for her, and once zhu yuan comes and if you don’t get her you will be closer to zhu yuan
If you have grace and Rina i would just save for Jane doe. you already have two of the supports (5*) she wants and it will be a really powerful team. you should pulls based on synergy more. Also her banners cracked too.

Possibly but quite hard to get her and the weapon as f2p I think, but for sure!

Ellen will get powercreeped as soon as Miyabi banner comes , I really want Miyabi but I got Ellen, her BIS weapon, Lycaon S1,Shoukaku and her BIS weapon maxed, I wonder if I should play different account or no , Coz as soon as Miyabi drops I'm gonna main her and Ellen will be benched (Considering Miyabi will be ice DPS).
There's lotsa time before she comes out, they may make her a ice anomaly by the time she comes out who knows

If I don’t have Ellen, can I skip Zhu Yuan and go for Jane Doe? Or is it necessary for me to get Zhu Yuan or else I won’t be able to progress in game? I currently have 65 premium pulls available, I really really want Jane Doe but I fear that without Ellen and Zhu Yuan my account will struggle to clear content :( Please help !
Honestly you'll be able to complete most content with the free roaster (maybe aside from the later stages of , and even then it can be achieved with well-built A-ranks) . Keep your pulls for who you want, all hail the mouse waifu 👍
Right now the team I'm using is Koleda, Anton, and Ben (might swap him to Grace when I get her), and it is working great so far, completely f2p, but Koleda sets up stuns really well and Anton with the right crit build absolutely shreds. And honestly, earlier in the game when I was using the Cunning Hares team, they were really good too. I think there are a lot of usable f2p team comps, I heard Piper in a fire based team can work wonders as well. Find a team you like and make it synergize so you get all the full passive bonuses, and so long as you gear them correctly they'll take you through most of the game.
Any content you might struggle with is optional anyway, save your pulls and wish for who you want. Jane will help you clear that scary content with her 10 million beyblade attacks and big Assault hits!
Ive seen that your progress towards guaranteed S rank pull stays from this current limited banner to the next. Any official word on this? Because im 20 pulls away and im saving it because I've heard that it carries over..any word on this by chance??
If you are new to hoyo games, yes they do. They do carry on with hard pity to.
Lets say you lost your 50/50 on the banner, and you pulled another 64. This 64 will carry on along with your 100% guarantee to the next banner. Your next 30-ish pulls will be the rate up character

Just started three days ago, up to Shiyu 7 and need two teams, at the moment I only have one team built.
What's the best way to split the promotion, skill and other resources in to two teams? I understand that attackers are priority.
An efficient resource priority guide I suppose.
I would max 1 team and push every content with more speed. Still plenty of time to farm for 2nd team.

I pulled Ellen and will pull Zhu Yuan (but not her weapon) well knowing that both of them will be powercrept in half a year. The alternative is investing into 4-star or standard 5-star attackers which I see as as an utter waste of resources. In pretty much all gacha games I have ever played the 4-star and standard 5-star attackers died off in the first few months and became C-tier. Hell, look at the current tier lists. They already *are* in the bottom half. Especially starting at character level 40 the upgrade costs become substantial so I'd rather invest into long-term characters rather than those you get as a 'loss' when pulling on limited banners.
Qingyi: Since I've got Lycaon I will skip her and use Soukaku as a pseudo-stunner in my second team.

It appears that qingyi would be the Best option meta wise but I dont really like the design. She literally is worse version of anby. I got ellen cuz i love the design and gameplay. In xu juan i like design but her gameplay is meh for me so I dont know if should pull for her or not considering i had terrible luck with ellen banner and now i have like 5 pulls saved Up. Also all of my 5 stars are attackers and now I wish that instead of enjoying the game i rerolled more (rerolled 10 Times with 0 5 stars😢)
I think ill skip xu juan and qingyi and go all in for rat girl that i adore (dunno how is the gameplay tho)
@@markhui At the end of the day the best characters to pull for are the ones you like, both gameplay and design wise. I personally really like Qingyi which is why I'll be pulling for her but I can understand why some others might not.

I must say i pretty impress of your hard works into making these charts. After seeing your chart about hidden mechanic of pulling, my plan for progression is so much better. Since my past experiences when playing HSR and 2 weeks in ZZZ, I usually can only get S rank on 80th pull (yes, my luck is not good), so now I will only pull when I got 160 pull saving (I'm not a f2p, but only spend to get monthly pass and maybe the BP in the future if the reward is good though)
I am going to pull Zhu Yuan, and if the first shiny one is not Zhu Yuan, anyone in the standard banner would be fine as I already have team plan for each one of them, or even a copy for C1 Grace or C1 Koleda is pretty good as I can get closer to their C2, which is superb. And I still have enough to pull for guarantee Zhu Yuan. Even A rank agents are good as Ben and Nicole can fit really well on my 2 teams with Koleda and Zhu Yuan. Of course the weapon is nice, but since how the atk buff in this game work, Starlight Engine can pretty good for an alternative.
I think it will feel so much frustrated if I pull 90 times and it is not someone I intentionally aim for. Oh, one small question, how many pulls do you think we could save for each patch if we skip those limited characters? (Each patch is roughly last for about 6 weeks I guess)

I got Ellen in 80 pulls and her weapon in 20 pulls. I have about 50 pulls saved should I pull for Zhu Yuan or save for Qing Yi?
My current team is Ellen, Nicole and Sokaku.
I'm definitely afraid of powercreep since Miyabi exists...
Isnt anby better option than nicole in that team?
@@markhui I mainly use Nicole for her defense shred and using Soukaku as kind of a stunner
@@velkarious Its up to you for general content, but for Shiyu. I think u should use Anby instead of Nicole, stunner is valuable in that kind of content. I have the same problem as you so i hope we can get Lycaon😂
Thankz for yours Guide! Im F2P and currently having elen c1 with shark w engine so I think dont need any other atker for now and market strat op stunner might be game changer for future.
I have every character bar Rina and pulled 3x Brimstone so no-longer need to spend any more $$$ for the life of the game.
