Thank you alejandro for taking the time to produce this video, a tutorial step by step video such as this should have been made by the manufacturer , they at least have an English manual that comes with the gun, your video took a few minutes to watch and was well worth it. my son just downloaded the firmware for PD 3.1 and now I can get 28V ,it looked easy , one hell of an improvement.
Hi Alejandro! The TS101 (I own one by myself) can be powered up to 140 Watt via USB C PD 3.1 You need an USB C cable (my one can go up to 240 Watt) and USB Power Adapter which can do 28 Volt by 5 Ampere (140 Watt). Best regards
I wish you had plugged it into usb C. I had to return mine because I could not get usb C to work. It keeps shutting down and the bulky DC power cable defeats the point of a small light portable iron.

Very good job breaking down how the TS101 works!!!

The writing on ts101 itself says 90w? Did you measure the current trough cable?
@@vladimirpetrovic5572Hey, I read the VOLT (28 with my 140Watt) on the TS101 and also, I have a USB C voltmeter between Cable and TS101
Thanks for making great content!
Thank you for making this tutorial. I really appreciate you explaining each of the 18 settings in greater detail than the manual.
Excellent tutorial!! Thank you...

Really I didn't use the USB C port. I usually work with the barret connector.
