Loved this series. Definitely feeling motivated to try and do more outdoor bouldering but hopefully the weather will be good enough for full-on routes soon.
To echo what's been said already, as someone who has just started to learn indoor ropes, knowing where is good to test out those skills, either top rope or easy lead, would be huge.
Any preference on either sport or trad? Obviously we’d love to do both, but I figured it was worth asking those who’re posting what their preference would be.
We’d absolutely love to, and have already drafted out some ideas, so I really hope so. We were talking about how we might do a trad one earlier today - whether to focus on classic routes or classic crags. Both would work, but each would have quite a different vibe. Out of interest, which would you prefer and what routes or crags would you like to see featured?
I’m a bit biased living in Leeds but I would love to see Caley, I visit a lot but have never trad climbed in my life so I like to just… imagine how anyone would get up any of it
As someone with no trad experience how would focusing on either classic routes or classic crags affect the vibe? Has this bouldering series focused on classic boulders or classic crags?
Loved the video! Could you tell me the name of the crimpy vert wall that you referred to as having "bubbly texture" please? I rewound a few times but I think it's the only climb without the title caption! Thank you :-)
I think the one you're referring to is Purple Slab - it's an absolute beaut!! Here's a link to it on the UKC Logbooks: www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/carrock_fell_crag-447/purple_slab-26540
The Indalo isn’t anywhere near as narrow as the Oasi or the Iaiti, and is definitely suitable for wider feet, although mine are probably at the limit!! That said, they’re a really comfortable, technical shoe the way I’ve sized them. If you want to know more we did a review a month or so ago that’s elsewhere on the channel.
Let us know which areas you’d like to see covered next!
Great video! Many thanks.
Hopefully we'll have more to come over the next few months

Thanks for the feedback 🙏 Let’s hope Spring actually springs sometime soon and we can all get back out on the ropes again!!

@@ukclimbingofficial I'll say sport as that's what my teenager will want to embarrass me at.
Maybe we need to film a series of parental hacks - “how to climb better than your kids” 🤣
@@ukclimbingofficial :-D
Loving the series! Do you think you'll do one for trad and sport crags?

ps love the phrase ‘chonk foot’ 🤣
@@ukclimbingofficial Ah thanks for that! And yep, if I can find them locally I'll give them a go. Also weighing the Zenist and Skwama... we'll see!
