Ok, this is my opinion on this topic. Maybe it`ll help some people and / or Eric to get motivated again. Let`s get into it! So, the very 1st thing you learn about this game pretty quickly is the fact, that its not really all about beeing good, but about being patient. If you downloaded this game and played it for the first time, you probably remember to struggle with a level, let`s say "Can`t let go" or "Clutterfunk". I struggled with them aswell, i hated these levels and didn`t wanted to play them at all, because i got frustrated and said to myself: I am not good enough. And that`s very wrong. You are never good enough for anything. There is always something harder you could do. Its just about patience. Now, if youve already beaten 1 or more demons, you probably had problems with them too. But at some point, you just tried it again and beat it. (except for free demons .-.) You we`re patient and it payed off. The 2nd thing is getting better. I know i said before its not about beeing good, and its not. But just playing easy demons or 6* - levels forever wont improve you. You have to try something harder. You wanna go up to hard / insane or even extreme demons. Normally you would start by beating the roptop-levels, then beat some easy / medium demons, but then you come to the hard ones like "Nine Circles" or "ToE II v2". You try them over and over, and at some point you are consistent enough to get to the drop every time, or get to 50%. But other players don`t care about rising "slowly". They just go from easy to extreme demons, even in the top 100. e. g. a player named Rocket. He almost beat "Black Blizzard" as his 25th demon. At the end its about improving. The 3rd and last thing is consistency. If you, Eric or anybody else, who's not an extreme demon grinder, try to beat an extreme demon, its normal to take more attempts then any grinder like Technical or nSwish. You just have to get consistent at the level, that takes a lot of time and attempts, some might take longer than others. But please: *DON`T COMPARE YOUR TIME OR YOUR ATTEMPTS TO OTHERS* and say: ugh, im so bad. it takes me so long. I haven`t beaten an extreme demon yet, but; my friend e. g., took 10,5k on "Temple of Destiny". Now, thats a lot of attempts, sure, but he still beat an extreme demon. And: He was patient, he improved, and he took his time to get consistent. I hope this helps at least somebody. It`s a big demotivation to see others beeing "better" by beating something faster. Don`t compare. Take your time. The END
This helped me! I have builded just levels last 4 months, because I don't have motivation to beat insane or extreme demons. I've just beated easy-hard demons, but I have many times tought that "Hey, maybe I can now beat Cataclysm because I think I'm ready!" but I gived up at the practicing. Now, I will try to beat slowly but surely some insane-extreme demons, because of you! Thanks! First demon that I am going to beat is The Caverns, and then some insane demons and then my first extreme demon!
Good luck on this Eric. I like the positive mindset you have with the extremes. And I do believe aswell that you CAN do it! It’s just a matter of practicing. Patience is key in this game
_ 1kb_ I wanted to beat bloodbath since it had came out and I beat it in June of last year. At that point it was like 75-80 and now it's 102. It's insane how difficult this game is now. I'm really struggling to keep up.

You have great ideas, and that's always a pleasure to watch your videos! So if you just don't want to "waste" your times on Extremes that's okay i guess lol

Well you are not alone, when I went from hard to insane demons I had a really hard time, and got really frustrated at the beginning, and spent over twice as many attempts than my usual. Before when I went from medium to hard demons, I did not really feel a big difference in the difficulty or got more frustrated. I'm really looking forward to the return of your gd streams :)

For extreme demon recommendations, I think you should do: The three you mentioned (RWR, BB and Aftermath) Spectral Tentation (easy but why not?) Retention Deception Dive Breakout Wavebreaker Just some recommendations :)

Very true and I have had many of the same, if not, all of the same thoughts on extreme demons. They are definitely the ultimate test of the mind compared to all other difficulties and because of this I've only been able to complete a mere 3 extreme demons. All these extreme demons are now on the legacy list, however with exception of one that was #145. Cyclone, Allegiance, Excessive Compliment. Out of all of these, I had the most pleasure playing Cyclone in particular because of the fact that it doesn't rely on a certain type of game mode skill. Most of the levels difficulty comes from fast game play and some moderate spam, of which, all flows wonderfully with the levels custom song and short level length. In regards with these observations I really do recommend Cyclone as an additional extreme demon that you could possibly beat anywhere down the line. Anyways, nice video as always and continue doing what you do best. :)

Not trying to tell what to play, but if you wanted some fun, somewhat easy extreme demons then you could play incipient, artificial dream or zettabyte. They're all around the same difficulty as this
Another extreme demon that I can recommend because it makes you more comfortable with 3x and 4x speed with most vehicles is Twisted Tranquility. The gameplay is pretty balanced, hard enough to be extreme, but definitely easy enough to be do-able for anyone who needs to get better at the game while also having enough skills from however long they have played the game.
You should try deception dive, most of the level is easy and I find it enjoyable! Also the last yt stream you did was when u verified astral nebula, since u said u don’t remember the last stream u had.
Eric, i'm noticing some similarities between us, 1. Both have beaten ICDX and took around 10K attempts. 2. Takes us a long time to get consistent at levels. 3. Insane demons aren't really too difficult and we can get them in a good amount of time. 4. Both started to have thoughts about doing Red World Rebirth (No i'm not making this up, i've literally been thinking about doing this level for a little bit now). I'm not trying to imply anything, i just kind of wanted to point it out because i thought it was cool :)
One time when i only had only like 5 demons under my belt, i was playing this level my record was 2% and i fluked it in like 3 attempts to 12% percent. I was 60hz. It almost gave me a heart attack
Hi Eric, I don't think you'll read this, but if you are, please read this. Here's my opinion. Before BB, I think you should try an extreme demon called Aftermath. It's slightly easier than BB, and I think you should do it before BB. It is not a long level, actually. It's pretty short, even shorter than Cataclysm! It is Cataclysm style. I think it is the best to do before BB. Not very hard, but it has lots of wave. The beginning is a ship, then the rest is wave and ball and stuff. Anyway, I think you should make a Practice Run of it. Just a recommendation.
I also agree, the main thing thats hard for me as well when beating extreme demons is just consistency, or practicing per say, then again this is coming from your avg 60 hz player so its like lol what do u do
Cmon Eric complete this level, it would be nice seeing you have bloodbath out of the way then maybe moving on even further. But either way your doing better then me so your good in my book, but I'm on mobile so 😂 keep going improving
