never noticed before how much buffy liked the dramatic slow walk lines
I also like how one of them was from 'Once More, With Feeling' when they were singing.
The part were Illyria slows down time when Spike jumps at her was amazingly edited. The music fits just perfect. And I mean perfect. That was truly stunning.

Watching this I realize how many times all the characters switch back and forth between being good and evil... Very gray area, and that's what makes the show beautiful.

I've favorited this a long while ago, and used it recently to get a friend into the shows.
You have somehow found a way to extract some of the most stylish scenes from both shows and tell a visual story with them that works perfectly. Even the quotes are really well chosen! I am a big fan of both shows, but even I have to admit that you made these two appear even better than they are (and they're already great). That's the testament of a really good trailer editor.

i was reblogging an illyria gifset and then literally started humming this song cause the memory of the fanvid and its epicness, especially the illyria bits, are so vivid and then of course i just had to find the fanvid again so i just looked through my liked videos cause i knew it'd be there and gave it a rewatch cause it's so fucking good! then sent it to my sister (who has a terrible memory btw this is relevant) and she went "Omg I remember that fanvid. Felt SO FUCKING EPIC". we probably had not seen the video in a good few years btw. just thought i'd leave this comment cause i really love this video, the editing, the song, the sound editing, the pacing are all just amazing!

Love this video, this song is so perfect for them and honestly I miss this show more than anything!! I've actually started to make videos again (stopped for a few years) and was wondering how you got your video to be 'wide screen'? I really want to make more Buffy The Vampire Slayer videos again, not just my TVD ones.
The Vixen Diaries thank you! when i make my videos in sony vegas, i used the event/pan crop option (which should show up on top of each clip you put on the timeline), then in the preset drop down menu i select the "16:9 Widescreen TV aspect ratio" preset. that should get your buffy clips in widescreen format. hope that helps!

Great job, really! It´s like trailer for Buffy and Angel focusing on "fighting" side of those shows. Brilliantly done. I would only wish to have subs to this or louder voices, because this has huge potential for even more goose bump, but it is hard to understand. But I am pretty sure it would be difficult to mix voices with music for similar effect you did there, so at least those subs would be nice. O:-) But other than this - really pure brilliance, I would say this is professional TV work if it wasn´t labelled as fan video. ;) They should pay you for this anyway. :)
