I think out TE core is really solid. Ballinger and Johnson are good. The 2 we signed this offseason are great blockers. Cager is another option. I purposely wouldn't add to that group.
I'd honestly use the 2 blocking tight ends to fill the blocking tight end spot and the fullback spot.
WY not wait on the final cuts of the other teams.

When all the raiders fans told us Darren Waller was not the move y’all should have listened. It’s important to go watch other teams fan channels with trades like that. It gives you a lot more awareness to the situation. A perfect example is when giants fans were warning the Chiefs about Kadarious Toney but the Chiefs fans were like nah he’s gonna be great. We even got clowned by Kelce and he ate his words. Now they hate him. It’s literally the same situation. Watch other teams channels if you want to accurately gauge any trades like that. These types of channels have intimate knowledge of every player and know their pros and cons better than other teams fans.
Okay we would’ve listened to Raiders fans and we’d still be in the same situation regardless. Giants made the trade, everyone knew the trade was a risk but we betted on the upside. We essentially gave up KT to get him so really nobody cares. This whole Waller shit us just distracting at this point so we just want him to hurry up and make a decision already
What do think guys? Don’t rush to spend money and wait a little if the opportunity brings up to sign a o line player. The comments before and during the draft and after were, we have one of the weakest online! What’s your opinion on that?
I agree that TE we are in good shape even with Waller retiring. I am not a fan of the Gilmore move, just because right now its the best of the rest type signing. I think the best logic is as Anthony said, wait to see how the summer goes and if we have to fill an injury hole or if someone shakes loose as cap cuts that is a better player for similar cost. I would also like to see a more experienced DE to put next to Dexy so they can be more free with the 3-4 and 4-3 hybrid. Right now there is no one I trust on the roster to be a 3 tech on running downs.
They should wait and see what they really need during training camp
Here's the big question -- If, as various commentators have asserted, the Giants can cut Waller and get the same result as they would if he voluntarily retired, why have the Giants not gone ahead and released the dog???? If Schoen wants him back despite the cap cost, I am losing a lot of respect for him.

What if Waller decides not to retire?
Do we really keep him, knowing he's not really committed and is likely just playing for the paycheck?. I think we should make the decision for him. Those conversations have probably already happened between Schoen and Waller.
When we get his cap space, a veteran corner does make sense - Gilmore or Adore' - as long as the price is right. Let the young guys play as much as possible, but have the vet to mentor and help out in tough situations.
I think the TE room is fine. Bellinger and Theo could both emerge as real pass-catching threats with dual skills. Then we have the two blocking TEs, Stoll and Manheim. And Cager as an additional pass-catcher, for depth. That's a good squad.
No hurry but camp cuts and waivers should make a few good players available. Another backup tackle wouldnt be bad.
I dont think we should go after Ayuk. There's only so many passes to go around. Nabers is #1 clearly. #2 is Slayton, with Hyatt alternating. Wandale in the slot or even the backfield. Hodgins for 3rd and long and red zone.
I think WRs and TEs groups are fine without Waller. A veteran CB would be great though.
Giants need to make a splash with marshon lattimore or aj terrell or jayce horn 2 of 3 in last year of deal and saints restructure #23 to get rid of him up the talent in the secondary !
No need for a veteran CB that would be taking snaps away from Flott and Hawkins especially Hawkins he needs the reps badly Flott has proven to be serviceable whwn given the chance he's played okay
Good point about having a CB2 even for a depth piece in case the starters get injured.
Look enough is enough I know he’s going through a rough time but I don’t think his type of music a mine are exactly the same and I know the Giants are trying to do the right thing for the player but there is also the right thing for the team let’s just do it now
If we could get Gilmore for cheap I wouldn’t be mad at all. He’s old but he’s still got some juice left and he can help develop our young secondary

Offensive line, stop wasting allocation
We signed two offensive linemen
While everyone feels the Defense is all good, I feel that it is an unknown still. The new D will not blitz anywhere near as much. So we will need to generate pressure with the front 4. We should be ok with the addition of Burns. However CB lacks a clear #2 and the depth for the rest of the corners is based off of potential. At safety we are not too much better. Meaning we hope that our safeties are good enough. We shall see.

@firesidegiants I'm very aware but then we will be weak at guard with little quantity depth. As a Giants fan I'm sick of our patch work oline that ranks amongst the worst evey single year. It's past time we do EVERY THING we can to solidify our oline. After all, this is generally where the game is won and lost.
