A sneaker store in Denver, Colorado, Sole Street Shoes, will be selling the Nike Kobe 6 Protro Reverse Grinches with a Grinch tote bag. They have torn up the Nike boxes to prevent reselling the highly anticipated Christmas sneakers.

100 percent would grab em with no box. If a lot of stores did the whole box thing, I’m sure a lot of more shoes would sit and reselling wouldn’t be as hectic

I use to walk in the store like it was nothing and get Kobe’s. I even got the Kobe 9 Barcelonas and Philippines from the outlet. Had a ton of 9 highs as well. And a few high 10s. I miss those days. Haven’t been able to get a pair for retail since he passed away. R.I.P Kobe.

Simple supply and demand. If they increase the amount of pairs, demand will decrease. Decreased demand, Decreased prices. Nike aint cutting prices, so they cant add pairs.

Bro, now that I'm thinking about it, how is the knee? As a long time hooper,I felt so bad that you experienced that. Luckily, in my 44 years of hooping, I've never had a major injury. Now that I'm getting older, I've taken up golf more than hooping! Also, I'm glad I went a half size up on these. I remember getting the Kobe 5 "Miles Davis" in my true size, and they were tight as hell. 😂

I don't think the reverse grinch (as much as they try) will ever live up to the original.. The cw itself just isn't as nice. The stock numbers are astronomical, so there won't be ANY after market hype for a while. Personally, they're not for me so i'll let people who want them cop.

Its called brand demand, kobe is creating demand for nike by being a limited product and not another shoe you can just get whenever. Nike does not need to make a shoe and sell a million of them, it makes more sense to them to keep them limited. It sucks, kobes shoes are easily the best sneaker line.
As a collector I love the box.
Some are very creative.
So they should be giving a discount for ripping boxes.
Imagine buying a new car and they put a dent in a special place just cause you bought it.
In Theory that should be illegal from both sides cause these stores are middlemen they don’t own that inventory Nike does.
