Essentially, Donnie is basing his worth on the things he makes. He saw himself as weak compared to the others because of his soft shell and "Inability to fight," and he "fixed" those problems with his tech! 😅
At least that's what I got from it! ^^

It's kind of the amount of tec. And the brothers never made the connection. It's like everything about him is a flaw and he'd be holding the team back. When you look at the highlighted things when he says it, it's his battle shell / soft shell, his tec bow / cause less strenght, goggles/ eyesight, gauntlet (don't know about this one, maybe not being able to do some things in his head.)
