I'm such a fan of the changing seasons and changing up my makeup is one of the biggest reasons I get excited for a new season! lol.
Love your content and the idea of this video. However, she glam is a very HARD pass for me and my ethics. As for the under painting technique, the wrong products will make this not work or show through. You have to be somewhat heavy handed when it comes to the contour, blush and concealer for them to shine through something as opaque as a foundation. Also, you could save the concealer for last b/c the foundation will take care of a lot of the discoloration upon application. Hence, you’ll end up using less concealer product. I’d apply powder products on top of the finished product if you need/want more. They’re easier to diffuse after the fact while also helping set the face. But typically, you shouldn’t need to apply more. Just my two cents. Face shape seems more inverted triangle or heart shaped. Definitely not oval.
One tip I’ve learned on TikTok from a MUA creator is using darker & lighter concealer for contour/bronzer and highlighting! You get the coverage + the color/pigment without having to use multiple products!

Hey Allana, I've just watched your previous video (we need to talk about this) - I've always loved you and found you to be one of the most authentic and real content creators ❤ I have recently taken a step back from your content because I have felt overwhelmed by your consumption and just the amount of new products you share etc... I am really looking forward to seeing how you grow and develop going forward, I can imagine how difficult how it is to avoid excessive consumption in your industry but I know this will only bring about great things ✨ps. you are incredible! lots of love.
I’m actually really disappointed in you for not only using SheGlam but even doing a sponsorship with that brand. We all know why that company has such low prices for their products.

Like the look and the colours. Just shocked that you teamed up with Sheglam. It is not a brand that I support. Nonetheless, love the look and your videos. Keep shining ✨
Omg Allana I was just going to ask if u could try the dusting the bake away with the lighter blush under your eye the other day n I forgot. It looks so pretty 😍
I would really like to see you put less concealer on. I know you said you need it but maybe try Lisa Eldridge's pinpoint concealer method. I think putting that much concealer on doesn't really work with the Mary Phillips method. The eyes looked great! Going to dig out that Kevin A product to try as eyeshadow.
I’m not a fan of the placement of the contour and blush, as I don’t think it accents your cheekbones or eyes to the fullest potential. The placement seems to completely disregard the light/dark theory. The original purpose of highlight and contour was to “sculpt” the face and play into illusions by making areas more or less pronounced. It has been used in theatrical makeup for eons. I think your initial instinct about the app’s placement suggestion was 100% on point! As a professional makeup artist, I believe there is no right or wrong in makeup application. Be creative and do whatever you want! However, if you are trying to achieve particular effects, then placement is everything! In general, making cheekbones less pronounce is currently not the desired effect. If you want the illusion of higher cheekbones, as is typical in our current beauty ideals, then don’t place anything darker than your skin tone on the high point of your cheekbones. (Light brings forward and makes things appear more pronounced and larger, dark makes things recede and look smaller. Think white jeans versus black jeans. Your body is the same size but looks different depending on the light/dark jeans.) Every makeup artist has their own philosophy and personally I prefer the eyes and/or mouth to always be the focal points, as this is how we communicate with others. Tonally blending your eyes into your cheeks doesn’t achieve that to me and flattens that whole area. I think for a more editorial look this placement makes a statement but doesn’t necessarily accent your best features. Most editorial looks are for marketing/show value and not generally for everyday makeup looks or to enhance any individual’s best features or to make them look their most beautiful (which of course, is purely subjective)! I do like the end look of pulling out the small flick when smudging out the waterline. Very soft and natural and beautifully defining! But I’m not a fan of putting makeup essentially into one’s eyes. Personally I don’t like the way it feels to my eyeballs and can’t help but think those chemical ingredients are not good for anyone’s eyeballs. I think you can achieve a similar soft flick by keeping makeup on the skin, without tightlining. In this overall look you have created color blocking and tonally, your nose becomes the focal point. Were you not blessed with fabulous lashes, and the addition of the soft flick, your eyes would blend completely into the two pink color blocked areas on either side of your highlighted nose, back into your hairline. As a side note, you look incredibly chic with your hair pulled back, no matter what makeup techniques you choose to use! 🥰
As a fellow dry skin girlie, I just feel like I hate foundation etc because it feels like a mask to me regardless of the finish. That said, I cannot wrap my brain around how much base you layer on (foundation, concealer etc) do you feel cakey? Please explain how you avoid this as I put on like a 1/10 of the product you do but your skin looks so blended and happy haha Also it was so interesting to see you put on the concealer etc, based on your face shape! It confirms everything for me as we have a similar face shape. I always put my concealer and blush that high. Watch Jamie Genevive's makeup tricks, she talks about that as well as it lifts your face when you put those things higher up!
To me … you look stunning! 🔥 I love the eyeliner/waterline hack and dusting away the powder with a soft blush. I’m going to mix my powder and blush and try this!! Thank you for bringing legit hacks. The squirt all your foundation in ice water and chase those worms around with a paddle brush to apply to your face was a “NO” for me. 😳

I feel the same love for that powder now that you do. It’s literally like having two completely different products. I wonder if the first one I got was old or if the color you get makes the difference. Anyways just thought I’d say that out loud lol. This is a beautiful look you did today! I’m definitely gonna try that eyeliner trick. I’m not a liquid cheek product girl but I’ll will watch you apply any kind of makeup and enjoy it!! ❤

@@Balletified i remember her debacles with nudestix. she just doesn't seem to actually care.
Like what’s the best case scenario here? We’re supporting an influencer that doesn’t do any research about the brands they support?
So gorgeous! I actually love it with your hair up. The eyeliner hack is super for people with hooded eyes too. Absolutely stunning look! Ban the concealer trolls
Allana NO! Sheglam!? Why?? This genuinely bums me out
The hair up gives you beautiful ballerina look with this make up! Love it
Dissapointed that you chose to work with sheglam
Hey Allana, I've just watched your previous video (we need to talk about this) - I've always loved you and found you to be one of the most authentic and real content creators ❤ I have recently taken a step back from your content because I have felt overwhelmed by your consumption and just the amount of new products you share etc... (and I do understand that your consumption is probably much less that that of others!) .. things just started to feel too superficial to stomach for me personally.. but it has been fascinating to watch this video and see your awareness of and new approach to all of this.. I am really looking forward to seeing how you grow and develop going forward, I can imagine how difficult how it is to avoid excessive consumption in your industry but I know this will only bring about great things ✨ps. you are incredible! lots of love.
Your eyes look BEAUTIFUL with that eyeliner effect Lan!!!
I’m definitely going to try diffusing my bake with a light blush 👀 that is beautiful
I’m actually really disappointed in you for not only using SheGlam but even doing a sponsorship with that brand. We all know why that company has such low prices for their products.
Lawd the air blushed blush!! 🤩
This makeup is so ethereal, you look like a goddess.
Nah she looks fucking mean
the overall look is stunning.. but the eyemakeup OMG!!! Love it!
Love your hair like this🌟
Im obsessed with the lip combo 😍 and the diffused blush turned out great ❤
She Glam! Are you kidding me! How could you promote Shein. Especially after the video you just did about over consumption. Hope the money was worth it. As an OG follower I am super disappointed in you.
Video request: can you show us a 5 minute minimal everyday makeup. Like a " I woke up late and want to look somewhat presentable" look
same here! like i-need-to-look-okay-for-a-while look 🥲
Love to watch your videos but really disappointed with this sponsorship especially that you have never use these products, sorry but you lost my trust
Like the look and the colours. Just shocked that you teamed up with Sheglam. It is not a brand that I support. Nonetheless, love the look and your videos. Keep shining ✨
Allana, I just love when you do these types of videos. The final look was gorgeous. Definitely saving this to try some of the hacks.❤❤❤
that is so much more flattering
Your makeup looks beyond beautiful! This is so gorgeous 🤩.
You look stunning and I love the light blush hack 😍
Your makeup is amazing Allana!
Yayyy here for this content!! Love your makeup videos! You’re always glowing ❤
What is the contour app used in this video? I’d love to try it ❤
This lip!!! You finally nailed the Kim K nude that you were after!!!
So pretty!!!
Just gorgeous❤
Wow, this is totally beautiful! Going to try for date night tonight! xx
Such a beautiful look. I really want to get that nude beige lip liner
I m crazy about this look on u!!! This one and NYE look both r my favorite 😘
Omg Allana I was just going to ask if u could try the dusting the bake away with the lighter blush under your eye the other day n I forgot. It looks so pretty 😍
Allana why are you so so good !!!!
Literally run to get the Wayne Goss Pencils and the Kevin Aucoin Contour Pallet !!!! Need it all !!!
Wow!!! This is stunning. Fingers crossed it looks this good on me. Gorgeous!!! BYYYYYYEE!!! ❤
Thumbs down for the sheglam sponsor
Your body is the same size but looks different depending on the light/dark jeans.)
Every makeup artist has their own philosophy and personally I prefer the eyes and/or mouth to always be the focal points, as this is how we communicate with others.
Loved the eyeliner hack, will be trying that one for sure!
As a fellow dry skin girlie, I just feel like I hate foundation etc because it feels like a mask to me regardless of the finish. That said, I cannot wrap my brain around how much base you layer on (foundation, concealer etc) do you feel cakey? Please explain how you avoid this as I put on like a 1/10 of the product you do but your skin looks so blended and happy haha
Also it was so interesting to see you put on the concealer etc, based on your face shape! It confirms everything for me as we have a similar face shape. I always put my concealer and blush that high. Watch Jamie Genevive's makeup tricks, she talks about that as well as it lifts your face when you put those things higher up!
I hope the money was worth promoting a horrible company like Shein/Sheglam.
Why the double concealer + foundation tho?
Loved this video Allana! You look beautiful so, the hacks are a success.✌🏽
Heyyy happy bday Dan!!! Love this look too btw 🥰 you just keep getting better girl!
I think your more of a heart shape ❤
Very true.
Agreed!
how do you get your repher brushes so white? Mine remain stained😥
Love the filter placement of contour. Very hugh, but in the end looks great! I definitely need to try this trick.
The mention of Sheglam is enough for me to boycott this whole video :( Sorry Allana
Stunning!!!!💖💖💖
We need hair toturials!❤️
It's hard to hear you praise Sheglam's cheap prices without questioning why that is...
It’s sponsored.. that’s why
Love these videos so so much!!! i loved the eye pencil tip!!!
Very pretty look, overall, but the eyes and cheeks are just wonderful!
Watching Allana try to get the lines just right while on the phone is too funny 😂
Alana that lip is so beautiful on you love the whole vibe.
Wedding look! You look gorgeous!
Allana wont recommend products that she's not approved even it's sponsored i think she really like the products as well
I would have said more of an inverted triangle. Would be interesting to try them all and see what that does to your face ✨
I was thinking about what you said in your last video about the givchency powder being a fav for you and not working for other ppl. Funny you mentioned that it showed ppl fine lines….so I heard everyone say how great that powder was so a couple years ago I bought the fair one. I think it’s all purple. Well let me tell you that I was wondering what all the hype was about. And I thought this is weird. I had the same experience BUT this Xmas I bought the one with the pinks in it (the Xmas one). Wow. ❤
I think with that lip combo I would use a darker lip liner cuz it completely blanked them out
The final look is sooooo pretty
SheGlam-Shein?! What a terrible choice.
Thank you
I love this look.
Love a good hacks video, love the eyeliner look
Gorgeous
What is the name of the contour app she used?
absolutely love this
Absolutely loveeeeeeee this LIP
