B. Dorin I stopped trying to build an Artemis team ever since Yasmine found a home with dodge teams. I was just wondering over the weekend where I could plug Arty in, or should I again attempt to build a team around her since she becomes useful later in the game. This is a good start and motivation to figure her out. Thank you
This doesn't work for mobile:
- Artemis doesn't have Armor Penetration skin (spring skin gives health);
- Artemis soul stones can be obtained only on Chapter 8 & 11;
- Sebastian is not easy to get (you can spend month waiting for his event)
So... the Chapter 1 mission to get her soul stones goes away on mobile? Interesting.

On web, we can get Artemis stones every 10 levels as quest rewards. Is this true with mobile?

Artemis was one of my early-on beasts, got lucky and got her artifact weapon to 3 stars. She fell by the wayside eventually, but back then there was no Hero Wars Central to help me out, and no Sebastian to provide his support. Of course, back then Qing Mao was also a reward in the Outland Chests, not buyable in the shop.
It's fine to state your own opinion but there should be a fair comparison:
Andvari is also not needed in blender - one can also use asta
Nebula now does not work with sebastian - so this is also now pointless
But most important of all - how do you think of as a easy-to-get hero for f2p players.
It should not be defined by whether you can get them early in the game...
Instead, it should be dependent on how much investment you need to make in order for them to be viable.
Think about what happens if a f2p player got Thea and Artemis and sticked with them from day one.
That would be a horrible idea and can get them nowhere if they stay f2p.
Thea, Artemis, and QM are definitely p2w heroes. How many skins do you need to level up to get them to similar power of a kiera team. Just think about that.
Thank you for your opinion! This is intended to contrast an incredibly difficult to build team (Andvari/Jet/Sebastian) with a significantly easier to build version.
@@HeroWarsCentral Thanks for replying Charlie - but I just don't think your reasoning justifies that the proposed build is easier. As said Andvari can be on both teams and is not 100% required for the blender - so the real difference is jet+keira vs. artemis+QM. Sure it takes a bit longer to get jet initially - but I think it will take significantly higher investment in terms of skins, artifacts, and items, for the latter to work at the same efficiency. So saying this works for f2p player - I disagree. F2p players care more about emerald efficiency, so really the king here is Satori...

I really appreciate your videos and have been watching a ton of them to learn.. However, I'm finding that several of your videos contradict other videos. For instance, in your "how to build an initial team" you talk about not investing in Artemis and drop her and to use Kiera as soon as you get her. But in this video you talk about how great she is. I know that sometimes there are update and reworks to hero's as time goes one, but it makes it really hard to take your advice as a viewer especially when deciding which hero's to build a team with. Is there a recommendation to us new people on how to filter what is current, and maybe what is not? Thanks!
I don't know about the answer to your question. I think that you just need to subscribe to this channel and wait for updates, and also subscribe to Hero Wars Secrets.
It's also good to do your own research, because they don't do any testing for the early and mid game.
I thought about Artemis vs. Kiera, and I am beginning to wonder if Artemis is the better damage dealer for the early and mid game, because she has crit hits, which can double damage once armour has been accounted for, if I understand correctly. Also, Artemis's smart arrow can be so powerful with only skins and artifacts that she can stun an enemy for 2-3 seconds.
This is true for Kiera, too, if I understand correctly, but she will be unlikely to even reach other enemies via ricochet, if the first enemy is at a higher level than her, which means that her 4th skill is useless against stronger enemies. This is especially true in the campaign, when you will want to push your heroes so far that they will deal with enemies at a much higher level.
At least with Artemis, her smart arrow will still reach the other enemies, even though there will be no stunning.
For your reference: I have a profile setup to remain at level 30, which consists of Thea, Artemis, Phobos, Galahad, & Astaroth. They are equipped and ranked as much as their level will allow, and they have no guild up grades and no pet, and they have only skins and artifacts. My goal was to see how much I would need to upgrade skins and artifacts in order to reach the top of the tower without deaths or buffs. After 1-2 months, I can now do it without Astaroth and most of the way without Galahad.
I don't want to bore you to tears, but I thought that I'd give context. It's been a very educational experience. It's neat to see how her 2nd & 3rd skills synergize with Galahad's 2nd & 3rd skills. I find that I usually don't need Galahad's first skill in the tower.
What Charlie says in this video makes sense to me, in that using Qing Mao to penetrate and reduce armor makes Artemis more effective, and using Sebastian to improve the crit stat almost guarantees double damage.
1 benefit that Charlie and others don't cover is that heroes like Astrid & Artemis don't energize enemies the way that Kiera and her ricochet does. This can be clearly seen when my level 30 team climbs the tower and often the enemies never ult.
These heroes aren't automatically better. They are just something to think about.

You can also get Sebastian stones in ETS, but I wouldn't recommend it. Better use of certs would be for Artifact Coins.

If you're a critical team place Dorian near your crit hero then Helios won't be a problem anymore. Helios ain't a problem on my team Astaroth, Markus, Sebastian, Daredevil, Dorian. (Mobile)
Campaign soul stones are not easy to obtain too.

That's not true! The very first level of Chapter 1 has Artemis' soul stones so you can start getting her soul stones from day 1!

Hello, i'm thinking of making a new f2p account since in my first i did all of the beginner mistakes. I'm thinking of trying Artemis,but from the team above i don't want to invest heavily in outland shop heroes,such as Qing Mao, because i want to maximize my skin stone gain by buying skin stone chests. Is there any other campaign or other shop hero i could use instead? How about Astrid&Lucas for the extra tanking or Fox for some extra blind against physical teams?
I will use different style of the kiera blender using astaroth not andvari
Edit to i do it is it good if it isnt then when seb and jet and andvari i will switch making my ast the tank for a twins team

Keep working on his stars and level. Also don't be afraid to invest some in his health glyph if he's dying too fast.

I used that team changed two heroes. Artemis was changed to Ishmael and Thea was changed to Celeste.
I cleared the boss of chapter 10, Typon. Galahad over 23k, Maya over 15k, Sebastian over 11k, Faceless over 21k and Martha over 14k. The total power is over 85k. Now I'm at chapter 11, 12th.
Keira is OP
Kiera is a great hero. There are a lot of "op" heroes and they need to stop weakening kiera. They keep adding counters to kiera and game changes to weaken her. Karkh is very op and so are the twins. The twins dont have a hard counter hero and Karkh has one. Its bulls#it.

To be frank, the tests are all flawed. The opponent teams are not at all good teams. For example, ast twin seb martha, are you kidding me? Seb in a twin team? Aurora DOH seb again?! what is seb doing there? seb in karkh team without jet again?! People, think with your own head, I am really disappointed in this video. Art is really not a good choice to invest...

Artemis has been reworked. None of the comments written here apply any longer, and they even seem completely ridiculous. Ignore them completely.
@Charlie an important note: This team is actually NOT as viable on Mobile. The big reason is that Artemis' Spring Skin on Mobile is +health and not +armor penetration. Therefore, as she always has been on Mobile, she just doesn't output the damage necessary to be competitive.

A cheaper blender, not better
The question is answered when you compare the damage output from their ultimates: Artemis' is rediculously low, ca 4 time less than Keira's. Even crit hits can't make up that.
Artemis needs some help in order to be competitive.

They are not a good beginner team. Drop Kiera or Artemis, and pick a healer.
Please check how this team will do against the team of undead, this team of undead seems more stronger.

I would prioritize her default skin, because the higher the main stat, the less likely an enemy will crit hit her, and the less likely she will be dodged.

Artemis is not stronger than Kiera, I think. She just fights at a different pace, which makes her effective at different times. Her smart arrow is probably unappreciated.
@@eugenetswong the only thing i dislike about her smart arrow is that she takes time (if i remeber 3 attacks) to activate it, same with her blue ability
@@nathanaelqc5186 I'd have to check the wiki, where I wrote it down: 4th attack for Smart Arrow and 7th for True Light.
I could be wrong, but when she is interrupted with a stun just before her green and blue skills are used, she will just continue as if she had not been interrupted, whereas with Galahad, he misses out.
I noticed in the tower, that Galahad can miss out of skill usage, if I understand correctly. Oddly enough, when he isn't interrupted, he gets an extra basic attack. She doesn't get that attack.
All marksmen, except Keira, need time to activate their attacks, which can be helpful, depending on the chosen strategy.

Personally i think that Keira is better, and i never play against arena teams with Celeste, Keira, Yasmine, or Qing Mao. I have cleaver, so i am safe against Martha.
