Lincoln's Tombs: Past and Present

Abraham Lincoln was buried in Springfield Illinois after his assassination in 1865. Lincoln's remains were moved around Oak Ridge Cemetery a number of times before finally coming to rest in their current location deep beneath a white marble sarcophagus. These photos explore the different locations of Lincoln's body and the times they were moved.
