I think it's the only aircraft in the British tree that has napalm, too. Pretty beefy napalm at that, at a BR where you'll see Hellcats and M36's in a downtier.
I recently started playing it, and while it's not great at anything, it's versatile and fun to play in ground RB with a couple of gun pods and a bunch of rockets. It turns well, and rolls excellent, so rarely struggles to avoid the wrong end of turn fights.
if you keep multiple gun binds for aircraft with mixed caliber armaments you can use the two built in mgs for sighting in shots on the gunpods, since AG are by default counted as large caliber for firegroup purposes
Nice review from the RB perspective, but how does it stack up in AB? Does it have the speed to rush base bombing like the Wyvern, or it it still worthy with the LMG pods for fighting other planes?
I was just flying around bombing/rocketing bases with impunity in AB, all the team came low and tried to folklow me while my team picked them off. Funny times. Also got a rocket kill lol
So, while it is based off a trainer - and several nations bought it just to use it as one, these things did see combat, and in their intended role, which is actually not really fit for this game. Realistically - this thing is designed for what is essentially an uncontested setting - in other words, there's likely no opposing aircraft to worry about, at most just ground fire and likely only some form of gunfire - not SAM's or the like. It's meant basically to go after some kind of separatist/rebel insurgency who maybe somehow got their hands on a tank, but more than likely have pickup trucks with guns as the most heavily armoured vehicle, and maybe dug in to some kinda shelter or tougher building that a 500 pounder is more than enough. So, likely no real need to change it's BR cause honestly - the one it's at is pushing the limit for what it is.
idea on how to fix issue with dead br ranks give a daily bonus of rp and sl for like 1 game in each rank and if play 1 game with x% amount of game participation get a nice big bonus in sl or rp or somthn
It's not supposed to be anything other than a low cost CAS plane for anti-guerilla/insurgent work, I'm baffled why so many youtubers spend most of their videos trying to dogfight with it.

0:16 the he-162 (both) are lower br jets (6.0) and the american P-59A is the lowest br jet in the game AFAIK. anyways great vid

I generally love lmgs at any br just because of how many times I had to rely on them whilst grinding the British tech tree

I have egot the BP ground out and this thing has made 6.3-6.7 brit ground actually fun

I find British weapons more then adequate for its purpose tho this is a bit lacking
