Have always loved those opening scenes of Jennifer on the bike ("What a Feeling" playing in the background) riding through what appears to be a cold Pittsburgh morning - a great intro and set-up for the movie to come. Thanks for identifying and filming some of these locations!
Thank you, this movie bring me back to my childhood when I watched it in my hometown in Indonesia with my parents. I was ard 14yo then, as I believe the movie was screening by 1yr late (ard 1984?) as my hometown is a very small town.😢❤ “What a Feeling” bring me back a good memory of my childhood.
I like this. I moved to pittsburgh a couple of years ago. I take the incline down off Mount W and walk the smithfield bridge regularly. Always thought Jennifer B was such a hottie when i was a kid.
This is great. I was in high school when I saw Flashdance and fell in love with the landscape. Many years later my husband and I went to Pittsburgh for our 25th anniversary. I wish I had had this list, but we did ride the incline and see the theater and museum locations!
Why didn't you show the trees, the steps and the sidewalk of the Carnegie when she runs out after the audition and her boyfriends car is parked on the sidewalk with his dog there and hands her the roses and she hands one back? It was right around the corner from where you were and still looks exactly the same.
