The fact that somebody in Australia listed New Zealand on eBay is hilarious, and reminds me of one of our senior pranks in high school. We listed the high school on craigslist for a dollar, it took a few weeks before the administration realized it. I’m pretty sure somebody actually called to try to buy the school and that was what tipped them off.

There's a law that's never been removed from the books in Minneapolis, Minnesota that makes it illegal to walk your pet giraffe but only on certain days
I know fact 2, 4 is kinda right, but I can tickle myself, 17, 20, 21, 22 (and charlie chaplin did the same thing but also lost), 25, 33, 38, 43, 44, 45, 54, 55, 59, 61, 64, 72, 73, 77, 82, 84, 85, 87, 88 I personally have green eyes, 90 (for some reason I use to have that phobia), 93, 94, 96, 98, 104, 110, 112, 118, 119, 121, 123, 135, 136, 141, and 148.
You can't tickle yourself.. EXCEPT for the fact that you can! If you touch your palate with the tip of your toungue and start moving it around it will give you a tickle sensation. Another interesting one, did you know that if you get pressed in a certain spot on your pelvis (on the sides, between your torso and legs) you might just start randomly laughing? Oh, and another one!! Pigs can't sweat, so in order to stay fresh they get mud baths, aaalso if they get stressed out enough, they tend to eat other pig's tails (that's why most people cut their tails off), also pigs are overly dramatic, they scream for anything. Aaaaaand If you think cats are evil, wait until you see a bunny out of a cage, they throw stuff just because, they eat whatever they have in front (paper, wood, fabric, plastic, literally whatever), they can steal things but they are extremelly inteligent and if done right, they can even learn commands, there's a tale about rabbits attacking and defeating Napoleon Bonaparte and his army. Bunnies are pure evil, adorable, lovely but pure evil (source, i had a bunny and can confirm that even Satan himself is afraid of them... Loved that fluffy demon with all my heart).
The unicorn hunting regulations comment reminded me that if you search for Part Number "121g" at O'Reilly Auto Parts, it's for a a Flux Capacitor from Back to the Future.
I always forget how rare it is to have green eyes which I have. To my defense, up here in Scandinavia it's pretty normal for people to have green eyes. Guess we got a big portion of that small percentage of green eyed people up here.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre house. Who wouldn't love to eat there? But, personally, 49 is my favorite. For my own useless fact, Bearded Dragons close their eyes upwards.
I already knew some of these, I have a few extra ones to add. 1. The humpty dumpty one is about a King. 2. The little piggy that went to the market didn't go there to shop. 3. It's impossible to kiss your own elbow. 4. The liquid in lighter fluid or gas/petrol is not what causes the flames but the fumes/vapors does. 5. As humans, our first mouths are our bellybutton/navel.
ad 1: My latest info was that it refers to a cannon ad 4: no fumes without the liquid, but point taken ad 5: the navel is a connection for blood vessels, not a mouth per se. I would tend to call the first permanent opening relevant, which is the rectum.
Anyone else see the ventriloquist dummy's eyes move at 8:35? I know it's just the guy's hand moving a little switch or whatever but still pretty spooky looking.
A single bolt of lightning is actually 3. I took care of a woman in ICU that had been struck by lightning ( she had 3 holes - burns in her right shoulder and it went through her heart and exited her body at the bottom of her left foot). She was evacuated to a level 4 trauma/burn unit. I don't know if she survived.
Some useless facts I can think of... 1 Humpty Dumpty was actually a cannon owned by the English. At the time it was the biggest connon to exist. But during a seage the wall was shot out from under the cannon causing it to fall and brake. 2 squid have a doughnut shaped brain that goes around it's esophagus. And if a squid swallows something too big it can get brain damage. 3 male bees explode after mating. The mating process causes pressure to build up in their body. After mating that pressure causes their organs to shoot out their anus.
I know you wrote your comment a year ago, but I wanted to chime in. You were right to question whether a stamp "contains" calories. It does not. In fact, nothing contains calories--not food, and not anything else. A calorie is a unit of heat. It is a measurement, like degrees. When we say X food has X calories, it is a SHORTHAND, abbreviated way of saying that X units of heat were required to turn X portion of the substance into ash. The food (or stamp) does not contain calories, any more than a room contains degrees. (And BTW, we DO have self-adhesive stamps in the USA. I use them all the time.)
@@Unknown17I don't really follow that argument. "Has X calories" is just short for "has a calorific value of X", just like something has a length or has a temperature. That doesn't invalidate the meaning of calorie as a unit of heat given off when something is combusted. Surely they aren't referring to the whole stamp either, just the gum licked.
@@Gmackematix I think you really DO follow the argument. I merely wrote what I did because most people believe calories are a substance within what they are eating. As you and I have now both pointed out, saying a certain food has X calories IS a valid shorthand, but only if one understands that it IS shorthand. I don't believe that most people REALIZE it is a shorthand method and that food does not actually contain calories. I believe you and I are in agreement here.
An extra one, Pope John Paul II had his pilots fly around Stull Kansas due to stories that said that Satan would visit a particular cemetery of the town every night.
8:30 you stated that the only ventriloquism museum was in and town in Kentucky; however, I know that there's also one in Pana Illinois because my best friend from high school, William Duff runs it.
Some more useless facts: 1- Bugatti is a French enterprise founded by an Italian man. 2- Chevrolet is an American enterprise founded by a Swiss man. 3- All Final Fantasy games have something in common: Gil as currency, chocobos as riding animals, flying boatships, and a person called Cid. 4- The "quack" sound of a duck has no echo. 5- The penguin is a bird that can´t fly. 6- The 100 Years War lasted 113 years. 7- The grasshopper have their ears in the legs. 8- The biggest city in Venezuela is Maturín (capital of Monagas State). It measure almost 8,283 squared miles, almost the half of Monagas State. 9- In an Asian museum, there is a spot that talks about a language spoken only by women. 10- In Japan there's is a katana type sword that measure 13 feet long (is called the Osafune, forged in XV Century).
You can't say something can do something "up to" a finite unit of measurement, then follow that statement with "or more." For instance, you can't say "A cockroach can live without their head for up to a week, or more."
I'm here to set the record straight. Any guy with a mustache knows that he can tickle himself by lightly irritating his mustache with the teeth of his lower jaw!

Extra fact about 3:11, it's also the name of a show introduced to talk about advertising
"Whatyadoing.....?"
"Counting how many times a Lion can mate in a Day...."
I didn't know that "tako bell" was named after its owner.

Silly putty was originally an Easter toy which is why it still comes in an egg. It was created during World War II to replace rubber.
I always forget how rare it is to have green eyes which I have. To my defense, up here in Scandinavia it's pretty normal for people to have green eyes. Guess we got a big portion of that small percentage of green eyed people up here.
That was awesome!😄💜👍

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre house. Who wouldn't love to eat there? But, personally, 49 is my favorite. For my own useless fact, Bearded Dragons close their eyes upwards.
Useless information until trivia night 😉
I already knew some of these, I have a few extra ones to add.
1. The humpty dumpty one is about a King.
2. The little piggy that went to the market didn't go there to shop.
3. It's impossible to kiss your own elbow.
4. The liquid in lighter fluid or gas/petrol is not what causes the flames but the fumes/vapors does.
5. As humans, our first mouths are our bellybutton/navel.
ad 1: My latest info was that it refers to a cannon
ad 4: no fumes without the liquid, but point taken
ad 5: the navel is a connection for blood vessels, not a mouth per se. I would tend to call the first permanent opening relevant, which is the rectum.
Nah they're not useless, at least they entertain us 😃😃😃

Speed dating was actually invented in the 40s - my grandmother told me about it. It was a thing and it was called that.
Calories on stamps? The most amazing fact seems to be that Americans don't have self-adhesive postage stamps yet.
Hohoho, conversations with my friends are about to get a whole lot more interesting

You can't say something can do something "up to" a finite unit of measurement, then follow that statement with "or more."
For instance, you can't say "A cockroach can live without their head for up to a week, or more."
I'm here to set the record straight. Any guy with a mustache knows that he can tickle himself by lightly irritating his mustache with the teeth of his lower jaw!
