Honestly speaking amir started playing good movies from 2000 which were both blockbuster and meaningful.

Some previous movies were good as they showed the ills of Indian Society in terms relationships and family and disparities bewtten rich and poor. They were not just love stories. Ishq being a comedy also showed that message.
