SPIN, SPIN AND SPIN that salad spinner to create a colorful dragonfly paper garland! This is a fun craft for kids, and it makes the perfect party decoration!

For this fun craft, I will show kids how to create a dragonfly paper garland using a technique called spin art. Kids will use a common household item, the salad spinner, for their DIY spin art machine. This DIY spin painter is super easy to set up and budget-friendly. All kids have to do is place watercolor paper (cutout in the shape of dragonflies) into the salad spinner with drops of paint and spin away.
This art project is ideal for children ages 6 and older with adult supervision. It takes about 30 minutes to complete.
For this paper garland, you will need a pencil, scissors, a hole punch, ribbon, paint, a salad spinner, watercolor paper and the dragonfly template from my Web site, www.moosemischief.com.
