As regards fuel efficiency, you tested Honda CVT mileage but never could test Creta IVT mileage despite requests! In actual road conditions Elevate fuel efficiency figures will turn out to be much better any day... both in case of city & highway! Honda under promises but over delivers!!
I have the zx cvt....after 1 year the average fuel consumption as calculated by the car displaynis 12.5 kmpl ....always driven with ac and 70% highways. But I think the engine has not opened up and is so smooth that any other IVT mated transmission will not be better than this. Along with boot space, ground clearance, fantastic cornering I still feel even for same money Elevate would be the car to buy. As an i10 customer I do not doubt Hyindai's quality but still thing Elevate does all the basics well and given the perceived reliability, it will AGAIN be my choice between the two

It's a very very very sensible comparison. Most channels are comparing top variants of each car without taking into consideration their ORP. There is a huge difference in top trim prices which creates a difference in added frills in creta. But at the same price point, both are comparable.

Without cruise control, I was able to achieve 16-17 km/l easily, but with cruise control, I reached 19-20 km/l. My engine is N/A petrol

Just Bought Elevate V on 06/12/24. With December offers I got it much cheaper than almost every rival. Got it for Rs 12,22,000 ( including Insurance, Extended Warranty, Cash Benefits, Apex Edition upgrades etc). Creta don't give any discounts.
Elevate us much better in terms of- Comfort in long drives, road presence, driving position, engine reliability, space, control in high speeds. I have driven Elevate around 6000 KM and its a beautiful and no-nonsense car.
It's hyped. The NVH is the sporty engine sound which is exhilarating. There are much bigger differences like the engine and suspension which needs to be discussed first before NVH or ventilated seat or panoramic sunroof. For example elevate ac is very powerful if the creta has a ventilated seat and less powered ac it makes no sense.

Both are good cars , hyundai is intelligent with every option available , honda is playing a simple game . In the end it depends on personal choice . Have elevate but dont think i would have regretted buying creta as well .
Elevate is superior on those parts which you can not mention on the specs sheet. For example: better reliability, better driving feel and steering feedback, better suspensions, long-lasting quality materials, better paint quality, better Bridgestone stock tires, better safety, better ratings, and an unlimited km warranty. So you can't judge the true value. Even if you do it just by specs sheet, spending 1 lakh more for what I feel an overall better car, is not a big deal for me.
We are planing to upgrade from our Petrol Dzire to full size SUV Safari Pure Option/Scorpio N or XUV 700 which is value for money varient and should be opt for manual or Automatic Otlr should we wait for Elevate Hybrid model and when it is expected to launch Please suggest
@aryasumanpal3429 insulation is bad to be honest. You will hear everything from road to tyre noise. Also there dust comes through panels, it doesn't come inside but whenever you will open the doors you will see dust at the panels. Ventilated seat is a miss for sure but the accessories Ventilated seat does the work well. And about mileage I can share images if you want

I have an iVtec City : its now above 1 lac Km on the taco with ZERO engine or mechanical issues. The CVT is totally in its original condition. Plus the body of any Honda is far safer than usual Hyundai cars And Hyundai electronics fail big time. So the complete cost of ownership of Elevate is much lower compared to a Creta No Hyundai can cross 70 k kms on the taco without an engine overhaul. Also in 2024 Consumer Reports Honda is at No. 5 while Hyundai s at No. 8.

1:54 have driven both, infact own a honda Elevate v Mt apex edition. RL Fuel efficiency is slightly higher than creta.
I doubt that I have Creta and its fuel efficiency can reach at hatchback level.
