I'm really bad with pinpointing the sound of genres naturally, so that new sound was obviously something i really haven't heard before, let alone being able to describe it. So thank you...French pop, let's go! I've listened to d-1 many times since...makes me fall more in love with yves. And you're right about Chuu singing a lot in Go Won's song. The way the songs were titled, i didn't know if it was BOTH of them like Go Won & Chuu, meaning it was both of their song and it just featured Kim Lip. But if it's supposed to be Go Won's solo b-side or something, then yes Chuu does have a lot of vocals on it for it to be someone else's song lol. SandyPop lmao honestly I can’t pinpoint genres for my life but it was a nifty fact from the “new” mv description. They put whole novels into those things. Also yeah the live performances from both LoonaBirth (debut concert) and LoonaVerse (comeback concert) were so ethereal to watch. It’s almost unreal seeing everyone perform live... I get chills every time I watch. For the Loonaverse concert, Yves and Yeojin got into an accident on the first day. Before they performed favorite, Yeojin accidentally tripped on Yves’ nose which evidentially broke it and Yeojin resulted in a sprained ankle. They couldn’t perform butterfly and their other songs. There’s a video out in the RUclips-verse that has the ending moments of Loonaverse where each member discuss their feelings about the concert. I’m not sure if you’d be open to record your reaction to thay as it’s very emotional... it will make you cry. 100% it’s really sad to hear. But nonetheless enjoy the live performances when you can! They’re so amazing and awesome stage presence esp Olivia ;__; a real boss baby

They all fit the cohesive theme of self appreciation through acceptance (New), being yourself so someone else can love you (Heart Attacks video), actual self love (One & Only which has my favorite lyric of all time "In this universe, it's not a coincidence I met myself), and realizing your self worth through trauma and anger (Egoist). Ahh I'm so excited that you finally finished listening to all solo b-sides! Just 3 more albums and you're done with them all! "D-1" was actually influenced by 90s French pop, a lot of French fans said that it really reminded them of the 90s when it was released. Her rapping got me hooked and I really wanna hear her rap some more in the future. This is definitely one of those slower bops but Yves' vocals are honestly everything. I would probably say "Heart Attack" is the more iconic gay anthem out of the two. Which fun fact: "Heart Attack" was played during the Seoul Pride Parade during the year it was released. But "Girl's Talk" is definitely a gay anthem on its own because really if you remove the occasional "boy" in the lyrics, it's even gayer. Yves' and Chuu's vocals really blend well together in this song. Another LOONA bop. When "One & Only" was first released a lot of fans didn't like it but overtime people started to love it. I personally don't get why people didn't like at first either, it's a whole bop but to each their own I suppose. I honestly love Go Won's rapping so much in it. She probably has one of my favorite rapping styles in kpop. Honestly when Go Won said "Which is right? I see or saw you? Which is right? I love or loved you?" I felt that. Also the reason why Chuu's voice is so amazing, aside from all her hard work, probably has a lot to do with Chuu's mom being a classical vocalist. She also said a few months ago in an interview that she has perfect pitch so our girl is hella talented. I think a lot of fans preferred "See Saw" over "One & Only" when they were released but I don't know if that still rings true now. "Rosy" originally had a description that was somewhat along the lines of "the song talks about two girls who love each other but are too lazy to confess" or something like that. I don't remember the exact wording but it was hella gay lol. HeeJin's rapping in this is so freaking good. And yes! Go Won's and Olivia's voices really do blend together really well. Soulmates energy. Their voices are so unique to me, like both their speaking and singing voices are SOOOO unique. I know that some fans don't think that they're quite as strong singers as the other girls but honestly I love their voices just as much as all the other girls. I'm glad you're enjoying all the songs so far! LOONA's discography always blows me away every time I listen to it. On Spotify I have two playlists (one with solo's and their b-sides and one with the subunit and OT12 songs), so I do listen to all songs but pay less attention. Maybe I should make different playlists based on style or mood, Loona is just so diverse! I think albums next is great: Love & Live / repackage Love & Evil, Mix & Match / repackage Max and Match, Beauty and the Beat (no repackage), OT 12 albums ++ and xx. I'd combine the x1x teasers (and the yyxy extra video / teaser One) with a reaction to more theory videos. So much extra content with Loona TV and other stuff to check out! Maybe add a reaction to a reaction videos, there is a nice Love Cherry Motion reaction compilation.

They all fit the cohesive theme of self appreciation through acceptance (New), being yourself so someone else can love you (Heart Attacks video), actual self love (One & Only which has my favorite lyric of all time "In this universe, it's not a coincidence I met myself), and realizing your self worth through trauma and anger (Egoist). Their songs and themes are really ahead of their time in terms of pop music.

"D-1" was actually influenced by 90s French pop, a lot of French fans said that it really reminded them of the 90s when it was released. Her rapping got me hooked and I really wanna hear her rap some more in the future. This is definitely one of those slower bops but Yves' vocals are honestly everything.
I would probably say "Heart Attack" is the more iconic gay anthem out of the two. Which fun fact: "Heart Attack" was played during the Seoul Pride Parade during the year it was released. But "Girl's Talk" is definitely a gay anthem on its own because really if you remove the occasional "boy" in the lyrics, it's even gayer. Yves' and Chuu's vocals really blend well together in this song. Another LOONA bop.
When "One & Only" was first released a lot of fans didn't like it but overtime people started to love it. I personally don't get why people didn't like at first either, it's a whole bop but to each their own I suppose. I honestly love Go Won's rapping so much in it. She probably has one of my favorite rapping styles in kpop. Honestly when Go Won said "Which is right? I see or saw you? Which is right? I love or loved you?" I felt that. Also the reason why Chuu's voice is so amazing, aside from all her hard work, probably has a lot to do with Chuu's mom being a classical vocalist. She also said a few months ago in an interview that she has perfect pitch so our girl is hella talented. I think a lot of fans preferred "See Saw" over "One & Only" when they were released but I don't know if that still rings true now.
"Rosy" originally had a description that was somewhat along the lines of "the song talks about two girls who love each other but are too lazy to confess" or something like that. I don't remember the exact wording but it was hella gay lol. HeeJin's rapping in this is so freaking good. And yes! Go Won's and Olivia's voices really do blend together really well. Soulmates energy. Their voices are so unique to me, like both their speaking and singing voices are SOOOO unique. I know that some fans don't think that they're quite as strong singers as the other girls but honestly I love their voices just as much as all the other girls.

About yyxy's bsides my favorite was seesaw for a very long time but i think i like more rosy now, yeah Gowon's and Olivia's voices compliment each others very well, that Heejin rap it's just glorious. I think my second bias is Gowon too! at first she was my ult bias but Hyunjin just came through for me this era, i love all of them though so i don't think it matters who's my bias bc at the end of the day any of them can wreck me.
