@@winscolandclearing That Rotobec RPA Grapplesaw attachment will be another good investment . I have 2 Rotobec RPA Grapplesaw on a Cat 320 and 323 excavator . An a log shear on a komatsu excavator
Man that’s killer congrats! I may be too close to ya but I’ve been looking at getting into the grinding business for a while now, I’m up in oakboro NC. Would love to talk to you some about getting into it if you were willing to!
I will be very interested to see you put any stump over 15 inches diameter in that grinder without splitting it. I don't think you can grind larger stumps efficiently without splitting them
How are you getting away without signs or a USDOT number on your truck? You may not be running “for hire” but you definitely are a private carrier. Since you are crossing state lines you are subject to the FmCSRs and unless you are buying fuel permits you aren’t showing any IFTA decals.
This is whats messed up in this country the fact that you need a license to have a business the fact that you need permits to do anything the fact that you need uncle sams permission to do anything in life and guess what if your successful at it uncle Sam is gonna bend you over for that with taxes too. And people like you getting into other people's business why does it mater if he is or isnt its his life his business and he will figure it out don't be a Karen we got to many of yall that's mostly why this country is falling apart as fast as it is.
@@vasiliydron because if you are going to play the game, play by the rules that everyone else has to. This guy isn't a fly-by nighter. He can afford to be compliant with the regulations. I was just wondering if there was an exemption I wasn't aware of. I don't think so but you never know. I'm aware of some operators that try to use a "farm exemption" but that doesn't apply in this situation. Not really trying to be a "Karen" or rain on anyone's parade. I'm glad to see this guy growing and prospering. However once you load up and go out on the highway thou shall be in compliance with the law. It's just a cost of doing business. If you are going to post videos in a public forum of violations then don't be surprised if someone notices. There's a lot to risk for yourself and the motoring public on the highway. If someone hits him and it's the other driver's fault he will still be found at fault civilly because he wasn't abiding by the regs and therefore shouldn't be there in the first place. Think about it. There are currently over 800K motor carriers registered with the FMCSA on the roadways now. You can't leave up to them to police themselves. Sure some will, but others will bend the rules, run heavy, too long, drugged, no insurance. Do you want people like that behind your family? I mean the rules do suck. I get tired of dealing with it. Everyone in America should know the pleasure of feeling like a criminal everytime the DOT pulls you over for a "routine inspection". But I know why they are there and I have personal connection with someone who has lost a teenage daughter to a trucker that ran her over in traffic. He is now in prison. I could go on and on but no one wants to hear it. The fact is there are a lot of new and up and coming guys that watch these videos. I just want to illustrate to them that there are other thing to consider when going into an operation like this. Here's the kicker. This type of operation only requires you to become a "private carrier". It is relatively easy to do so. The cost is minimal. There isn't an insurance requirement like with "for hire" authority, although you'll probably want to have a mil of liability just cause that's industry standard. Outside of some paperwork requirements and an initial audit via email it's a breeze. It's much easier than non compliance in the end and you won't have to dodge the scales or move your stuff on the weekends and nights. What are your thoughts or anyone else's for that matter I'd love to discuss the pros and cons and have a fun debate. Take care
@@hoytballard5504 I agree with you I run not for hire stickers on my stuff ive had people tell me I should be running mc #s and ifta etc but we never cross state lines and honestly we really don't go farther than the sounding towns. I haven't had any problems so far thank God but I also know that a huge excavation outfit in our area move alot of their heavy equipment 80k+lbs stuff equipment on weekends and holidays to avoid all the extra stuff the state requires to do when you move stuff like that.
I just subscribed because you gave God the Glory for growing your business. Plus I love watching the work y’all do with all the equipment.

Funny cause Fredericksburg is only about an hour from me.....but I think the horizontal will be a better fit for your business
I love cat equipment and shoes

Do you guys ever do any small clearing jobs? Or do you mainly do big clearing jobs?
Nice set up
Congratulations!
should do chrome, half fender on the drivers mark ;)
That rotation grappler makes feeding the grinder 10 times slower
All u need now is a log splitter attachment for your excavator to bust open big logs and stumps so your horizontal grinder can process them easier .
We recently got a deal on a set of CBI hydraulic wood shears looking for an excavator to put them on

Those track chippers are so nice because one man can run the excavator and that chipper at the same time freeing up your guys to go somewhere else👏👏👏
Congratulations on purchase great video 👍
